About Me

I'm here to find someone special to share some quality time (and my life) with. Hopefully, something serious and long-term will develop from two people who share a physical attraction, enjoy each other's company, and find themselves compatible. I don't care to spend the rest of my life alone (as the bachelor) ... everlasting love is the ultimate goal to aspire for. I'm looking for someone, who doesn't take life too seriously and has a good sense of humor. Hopefully, she is comfortable with her own looks and makes a diligent effort to always look good. I'm a big believer in life is way too short.. and was meant to be enjoyed, not endured... a good partner is a big part of a healthy and satisfying lifestyle. Thanks for reading my profile and good luck in your search.

Man. 51 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.

Looking for: woman. In age: 48-58

I'm a very young 51. Very very. And let me say first that I wish meetville would give me more choices. Seems like it's either Nothing Serious or Love of My Life. There's a lot of good to be had between those two things. Maybe our relationship is supposed to be one night or two weeks or the time it takes to have a drink. So I'm looking for whatever comes. Anyway. I'm a very young 51. I'm outdoorsy and urban in almost equal measure, though I lean urban. I'm an athletic, creative guy with a bookish, scientist alter ego. I read every day and spend time on growth and spirituality, but I'm not even close to a hippie. I'm edgy and quirky and not like other boys in ways you have to see to judge. I'm a bit of a loner whose openness and willingness to share might alarm you, but I'm not a creepy over-sharer. I break a lot of rules (mostly little ones, but occasionally some pretty big ones). I'm kind of a party animal or batsh*t crazy, depending on perspective, but I'm mostly not wearing a lamp shade. I'm outgoing. I have a lot of friends from various walks of life, but I don't really stick to one group. Social butterfly? Idk.I've traveled a lot (25ish countries, 40 states) and lived on three continents. Do I hear four? I speak some Spanish and German. I'm passionate and energetic, which some people interpret as brash. Feel free to slap me down. I mean no harm, and my ego welcomes reality checks ;) My loyalty and altruism verge on self-destructive.Make me laugh, please :) I find humor everywhere, including my dad's funeral. Curiosity keeps me alive, largely. I've been known to stop along the road to look at birds or trees or rocks or historical markers. I gave away my TV, but I'll watch any movie and find something to like about it.I try to surround myself with people who keep moving and looking ahead. I volunteer teaching and mentoring high school journalists. I try hard to be grateful and positive, even on bad days. I've been on a sort of spiritual divestiture trip for the past few years, sold and/or gave away a house full of stuff, then sold my truck and got a motorcycle. I don't own a house and don't want one. It's not a stretch to see myself living out of a truck on the road for a couple months in the coming year, writing and shooting short documentaries. Being a freelance journalist offers potential for that kind of freedom. I write for a national news organization, so my job is very unpredictable. So am I. When people f*ck up, I work. When they don't, I try to camp or travel or ride a bike or watch clouds ;)I work out regularly, but I'm not a body builder. I'm all Type I muscle fiber - a runner/cyclist. I'm not a health fanatic, but I'm very physically aware. I was an Army medic for six years (pre-war, no combat), and I took a year off recently to study exercise science. I eat meat these days (wtf?) and have a drink or two most days – but working out and eating right are in my routine. I'm not against spending an hour making dinner every night, but I'd rather cook with you than for you. I prefer food without labels. If you've read this far, you deserve to know that I smoke pot *gasp* I have a medical card, and I make part of my living writing about it. I'm not a stoner.I'm a jeans and T-shirt guy, mostly, but I know how to look sharp as needed. Dockers scare me, especially the pleated ones.I would love to find someone who has traveled a lot and wants to see more. I'm extremely multifaceted and highly educated, so I need the same in a partner. Please don't take yourself too seriously, because I won't ;) I'm attracted to people who are amazed every day, grateful and try hard not to be fake. If you want a man to take care of you, I am not your guy. Do you f*ck like a wild animal? Do you want to go drink at 8 a.m. in a horrible dive bar, just to say you did it? Do you ever think about selling everything you own and moving to South America? Do you love your tent and sleeping bag as if they were pets? Can you pee anywhere? That all depends on who you are ;)

Man. 55 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.

Looking for: woman. In age: 52-62

I have always said as well as others that know me; I should have been back in the ***'s.45 and my horse. But I’ve adapted well in this century and very adept with technology. I am old school and treat a woman with respect and honor and go out of my way to make them feel good. I am not pushy with women and will respect them on the first date and take it slow. I have no patience for men that treat women badly, again from old school upbringing. I love the outdoors, and consider my surroundings here in the east valley my backyard. Love to hunt, fish, hike, and do lapidary, which is making stones out of turquoise and other materials, and will pass on this art to other generations to keep it alive. I was in the scouting program from the time I was 8 to my teens. And was a cub and Boy Scout leader for several years in my adulthood putting back into the system that give so much to me. I will return to the scouting program as soon as I get situated. People especially women always think I am way younger and don't believe me when I tell them my age. Time is nothing more than a measurement here on earth. I try to eat healthy, take vitamins and use herbs and love herbal teas. Don't smoke, drink or do drugs. I hike Wind Caves twice a week. 1. Recently did it twice in ***hrs. Update: Did Wind Caves 4 times the week of October 7th ***th ***, personal best to the top at 27 minutes. I do love Irish/ Celtic music as well as Native American music and traditions, and obviously country music too. Oh and yes I do like rock and roll especially old stuff 70's & 80's. You might be surprised what I can listen to. I do believe in god and the constitution of the United States. And having dad, grandfather, uncle’s friends and neighbors in the military I stand behind them 100%. On more than one occasion I have bought lunch for a soldier I met at a fast food place. And thanked them for their service. I like guns and shooting, and reloading I grew up with it as my dad was military and a retired peace officer. Camo is a plus with me. Lol. Not bragging but I am multi-talented in many areas, have had and built race cars when I was younger. I am also adept in computers and IT Tech. I love to laugh and make people laugh, I’ve always been told I am quick witted and funny. Laughter is good for one’s soul. I love to read and it is usually Louis L'amour westerns, I have his entire collection. But am also reading science, technology, medical, astronomy, guns. Knowledge is something that can never be taken away from you so obtain as much as you can, that is why interests and talents are so great. I also believe in service to others: donations of time and monetary to people in need. Many times I have stopped to help someone broke down, especially a woman or woman with children on a hot day to get help for her or fix the problem myself and get them back on the road safely. I am what I am, I love life and people, and have goals set. I hope to retire on my land, 40 acres with cattle and horses. And my family visiting whenever they like. Traveling and selling my silversmithing and lapidary, doing cowboy shoots and reenactments and running a small ranch. I need a lady that won't break and can keep up with me. Especially in the outdoors and have the same love I do for it. There is a lot more to me than can be put here obviously, I am the real deal, and don't want to ride off in the sunset by myself. I want to share my world with my soul mate and watch the sunset together.Take care and thanks for reading my bio.BRIAN "Gather all the knowledge you can here on earth for it is something that can never be taken from you but will be taken with you hereafter"............Put this on your...*...*.. profile if you have....\o/....ever walked into a...........Patio Door that was..../.\.....CLOSED!!!!!! We will take it slow and respectful on the first date to see where it goes. In any relationship you have to become friends first and get to know each other, just like a shoe it has to fit. And then if it does fit you would become best friends and then in love. I believe true love does exist, maybe for you and me. And we all have a soul mate; we just sometimes have a hard time finding them.
