I am a veteran of Desert Storm; Construction, as an Electrician; Financial Services, as a Manager of Retail Tax Prep Offices; Real Estate, as a Broker, Property Manager, and Investor.These experiences don't define me but they do color the way I see life. I have also studied religious history and philosophy, and the history of Western Europe. I guess I kind of like to study and experience different cultures. I'm currently learning Spanish.I'm looking for a partnership with a woman who likes the same kinds of things I do, but has a mind and life of her own. She understands that thoughts and words have power; that they create our future, whatever that may be. After that, all things are possible. Coffee.... It doesn't matter what event or activity we choose, there will probably be coffee involved. It's how I roll.I think a good first date is meeting for a happy hour coffee, tea, etc. someplace nice, spending an hour or so in conversation. If the evening is enjoyable, we could go for a walk and continue the conversation. If we have some common interests, we might choose something we both enjoy and engage in it together. After all, why put off till tomorrow what you can do today. We might enjoy it and want to do it again tomorrow.

As an avid fisherman, I guess it's time to switch bait and cast in a different direction. First, I am a dedicated dad of two wonderful daughters who give me great pride every day. Now that they are getting older 21 & 14 they both hope I will find someone to share life and experiences with. Me too. I am a creative intelligent type with a passion for business. My job as a consulting executive keeps me on my toes with new challenges every day. I have an unusual collection of business accomplishments that make up a career probably because I am always open to new challenges. I also own a fun fitness oriented business that many Houstonians have visited, just for the thrill of it. I am happy and healthy. I consider myself more spiritual than religious, although my girls and I have attended the same methodist church for more that 20 years. I love the people and the positive energy there. I work out on a very regular basis and consider myself to be in better shape than 9 of 10 men. I recently started a Pilates class that is kicking my butt, but I love the results a lot. I take tennis lessons but the *** me I still play like its a racquet ball. Whether its the grill or a four course meal, Im a great chef. I love gardening and working up a good sweat in the yard. I am a creative type which applies to most things in my life. What I am fishing for.... Isnt this the same thing for us all? Someone that I see as beautiful, inside and out. Is that too much to ask for? I want a best friend, travel companion, confidant and lover all rolled up in one. Its too easy to list qualities that you desire but ultimately it is just a connection of the spirit that captures the heart. I want a relationship with all the trimmings. I'd like to do something that we both enjoy and take the time to share conversation and get to know each other. Sports events are fun but conversation is hard, (unless its the Astros where you can be completely alone in your own ball park, LOL). Love a good festival when the weather is nice.. But for a first date I prefer a nice dinner and drinks to share some time to make friends. Second dates are something more fun like a dive restaurant/bar or darts at the pub.
