New on here. I get burned out on "social media" sites. You too? :-) Free pointer: It probably doesn't make a good first impression to try to initiate a conversation by saying, "Hey, what up?"I enjoy presence and conversation - but I'm NOT chatty. I guess I'm a man of few words. Think "Atticus" in the "To Kill A Mockingbird" movie. :-) Not prone to stay on the phone a long time. But love to be WITH someone for company and affection. I need facial expressions & eye contact to prime my conversation process. Hoping to make a quality friend or two. I'm an intelligent reflective type of person. Interested in someone capable of meaningful conversation - mutual non-egocentric conversation - a person probably well read or at least a reader - empathic. I'm all those things - and it would be nice to have those in common. Prefer someone who knows how to mutually create and sustain a friendship. I've been consciously evolving and personally developing for a while now - so I need someone who is relatively insightful and mature - but who is light-hearted and has a good sense of humor too! :-)I focus on mindfulness. I'm conscious of being alive! I love nature and being a part of it.I'm interested in a LTR but not obsessed with it. A recent hobby is Tarot! I find it very interesting and approach it more from a psychological, meditative, insight perspective rather than for "divination."I created and lead a men's growth and support group. We've been meeting for a little over 3 years now. (I've created several of those over the years.) I love to see men - straight & gay - grow and develop their full potential. Just simple laid-back time with someone. No games necessary. With me, what you see is what you get. After spending time with me, folks often feel like they've known me their entire life. I'm straightforward, friendly, funny. It doesn't even have to be called a "date" with all the social pressures and expectations that come with that. Just two good, caring, open, people meeting. Life is short. It's good to spend quality honest loving enjoyable times with others! :-)
