I like a variety of things, going about the daily tasks of living, working and getting simple things done. I enjoy learning, and having enough flexibility in the way I lead my life to allow for the fun that spontaneity can bring, and enough balance to support well-being. I am exclusive and romantic in relationships, secure, stable and reliable, leavened with a bit of good-natured humor. It may be old-fashioned, but I have a strong sense of honor and there is something of the defender deep down in my soul, in tandem with a love of creativity and streak of poetry. I am not into the bars, never did fit into "the scene" and doubt I ever will. I don't fit gay stereotypes, and its rare for someone to pick me up on the "radar". That's been a barrier of sorts for me getting to know my own at times, so most of my friends bat for the other team but are pretty cool and accepting of gay people. I have life long friendships, something that has been and continues to be one of the more graceful things in my life. I could say more, but when its all said and done, it's more about the road and less about the destination for me. Some of the best things that have ever happened in my life have been the unexpected ones, and somewhere in the turnings of it all, the spiritual part has become more meaningful. That has had the effect of deepening my appreciation for the good things in life. Dating is not something that has to happen, but I would be open to it if it were to develop naturally. Romance, warmth, love, trust, confidence, and passion, they're all good; things that make life a little more worthwhile and fulfilling. Simple is good
