About Me

I'm a down to earth and low key guy, and confident to a point as my appearence suggests. I'm honest and even keeled and my glass is half-full as much as possible. No room for toxic negative people in my life. I don't need to be dragged down by that. I enjoy being active and outside when possible. Enjoy doing new things and would like to experience them with a man I care about, and who cares for me. More travel is one thing on my list. I have been working in the financial services industry for ***years. It suits my analytical mind, but lately I feel like I would be happier doing something completely different, possibly in the medical/health services field. I am looking for more social interaction, which is why I am here. And if I find a special guy here and we can have a solid long term relationship, that's a bonus. That's what I'd like in the long run, but my expectations are not set high.I have two sons in college, who are great young men, and have added so much to my life. I have no regrets about my life at any point up to now. But now I want to focus on fostering a relationship with a good man, who knows a solid relationship is a two way street with give and take.I always have a book that I'm reading. I used to read mainly murder mysteries, but have started working in some classic literature. Jo Nesbo is my favorite foreign writer, a Norwegian. TV is mostly an evening filler, but prefer comedies. I laugh easily and love to hear others laugh as well. For movies I can enjoy almost any genre. I enjoy a movie or two every weekend. I feel my music tastes are constantly evolving and expanding. I love how music can evoke feeling and emotion! Food...yes I eat it. Open to trying almost anything. Please note I chose HIPSTER for the word describing my personality. That describes the music I listen to. I often discover artists before most people. I am an overall Hispster? No, but I don't like using just one word to describe my personality. It can vary a bit from time to time. :) Over coffee in a relaxing atmosphere, so we can talk and see if a connection is there or could be.

Man. 53 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.

Looking for: man. In age: 50-60

I bought my first house after living in a condo for over 25 years. One of the things I love about having my own home is landscaping/gardening which has become a hobby of mine. I also really enjoy going to the gym everyday though not a gym rat, it's just fun and I feel great afterwards. Music is a very important part of my life - I pretty much love it all except for rap. I like movies and some tv shows. Following POF's suggestions, the next thing I should talk about is my goals and aspirations. At this point in my life, I feel I've attained all I want in terms of material things and have come to the realization that what one owns is not important. The biggest goal I have right now, and have always have, is to find that one special person to share the rest of my life. I don't like the phrase "long-term relationship" as that implies a beginning and an end. I am looking for a life-time partner. The term "open relationship" is an oxymoron. It makes no sense to me. I am a very non-scene guy. Not into the party scene and hanging out with gay guys exclusively. I like nature, animals, hiking, fishing, bike riding. I don't like shopping or antiquing. My favorite clothing is Levis 501's and a t-shirt. I love cars but prefer to own a pick-up except for the gas mileage. I think pretty much all I've said sounds like I'm pretty unique, very "non-gay". Just a guy who happens to be gay. First date... this is a loaded question. Not sure what to say here. Ideally it would be great to meet a guy who I have a lot of chemistry with, we talk over dinner for a couple of hours and then go for a long walk and watch the sunset. Ok, that's ideal and far from reality. I think the best way to approach a first date is to simply go to lunch together. It's an hour out of one's life. If it works out, we call each other and plan a second date. If it doesn't work out, no big deal.

Man. 54 years old. Zodiac sign: Gemini.

Looking for: man. In age: 51-61

I am looking for a clean, honest man who doesn't smoke or do drugs. Someone who enjoys going out to dinner and live theater. I am looking for a man who is gainfully employed, frugal and has a sense of humor. I like to work out and work like to meet someone who is health conscious. I am gay, but I have morals that I adhere to for the most part. I'm a great listener!! I'd like to meet for coffee or a drink to get to know you.
