About Me

Last November I was surprised by Corporate Restructuring and have since found new employment with a client of my former employer. I’m an optimist so I wasn’t worried. Only spent 3 months without gainful employment. The RI Dept. of Unemployment is a boondoggle to say the least.Now, I work happily from home. I lost my 2 oldest dogs, 15 and 10.5, in July. It’s not been a great year for that sort of thing. BUT, I have 2 pups, 2 and 1, who keep me going all the time. They LOVE that I work at home. Yogi and Bear are wonderful company.Not into clubs and "the scene"! I prefer places where I can hear the conversation and not have to shout back. I'm concentrating on the real, the now, the positive!I am gregarious and open to new experiences. Love meeting new interesting people. Dining in or out is good; I love to cook, bake, and experiment. I enjoy making my own bread. I really enjoy finding a great bottle of wine at a ridiculously low price. I'm successful quite often!I would like to meet someone who has a strong sense of friendship and family. I have a varied collection of friends; some on-going for ***years. Loyalty and trust are the keys to a great relationship. I'm honest, love to laugh even at stupid things, caring, passionate about my friends and living to enjoy life. I prefer to be happy and fun. Others like that about me!I love to travel and the UK is a frequent destination. It's a brain and dexterity challenge.I enjoy being outdoors; the beach, sailing when a boat is available (rather fair weather however), body boarding, gardening, picnic on a hike.Indoor activities - Love Scrabble, just sitting around and talking, planning a trip! There are other fun things to do but we can discuss those at a later time. First date - easy going, low pressure. Coffee, lunch, walk, maybe dinner and drinks.Here's a challenge... We meet for dinner at a BYOB and each bring a bottle of wine that costs under $7; we taste and see who got the best bargain and wine. Location to be determined!OR... If you own a dog, let's meet in a dog park! We can share a mutt-ual experience and have something wonderful to share.
