About Me

Well some of the other things I enjoy are working on and playing ***'s and ***'s jukeboxes. I go to my beach house most weekends. My dog is my best friend so I spent a lot of time with him. I grow a small vegetable garden in the summer, beans and beets are growing the best so far this year. I love family gatherings, dinners or birthdays parties, although my family is getting smaller and further apart. At a large gathering you will find me running and chasing any kids, picking them up and turning them upside down, doing summer salts and cartwheels. I am looking for a woman somewhat close to my age. The perfect first date in my eyes, would be to just go for a walk and talk, see if there is a connection as a friend or maybe more.

Looking for: woman. In age: 49-59

Its summer and I figure that it might be time to update my profile since I have begun actually participating in online dating. I have been a member for a long time but mostly just looking with an occasional *** someone if their profile somehow touches’ me. I looked at my favorites and some of the women probably don’t even belong anymore. I am a very happy person and well established and I don’t mind being alone. But, I would prefer to find someone that I want to be around (don’t we all?) and look forward to seeing. I miss the companionship, holding hands, kiss's, and to be honest, holding someone throughout the night. I miss the closeness. Some things I believe:1. Chivalry is not dead. It’s just not common anymore. Sometimes women are scared or shocked when they experience it. I know this first hand. I do open doors for women.2. I hate Bullies; a person should defend the weak, protect both young and old, and never desert their friends or family. 3. Never try and be someone you’re not. Always be yourself. Unless you can be Batman. Then you should be Batman. Otherwise, be yourself.4. I believe in justice for all, not showing fear in battle and always ready to defend what’s right. I don’t follow blindly and I question most everything. I decide what is right and stand my decision but always listen to the other side without a closed mind.5. I should be honest and admit that I don’t understand women. But I also think that is what makes them so wonderful.6. I believe implicitly that every young man in the world is fascinated with either Star Wars or dinosaurs. But then, that’s natural and how it should be. Unless of course the young man has never heard of Star Wars or Dinosaurs. 7. I believe that Mitochondria is the “Powerhouse of the cell”. That is stuck in my mind for some reason from college and I cannot get it out. I don’t remember what an Ameba does or is.8. I believe in protective helmets for motorized sports. I am here today because of one. I kept it to show people.9. If Jimi were still alive, I think he would go out of his way to kick Justin Beavers A…10. I believe men should not cry at movies. Unless the movie is Brian’s Song. Or a few others I guess. Ok, we can cry at movies. But, only with someone special that they can trust.11. I would have to listen to both sides and make a decision. But if it was an evil dragon, I wouldn’12. If you don’t know what I am talking about, you can ask me.From my old profile but still true. CAUTION! OLD BORING PROFILE INFO BELOW: Here are my answers to the questions I get asked most. I guess that’s what women want to know. What do you do? I am a Supervisor in Federal Law Enforcement and yes I carry a weapon. I even wear a suit and tie at work now and then. What did you do in the military? Then, because the reserves didn’Have you been activated? Yes, twice. The second time in ***to be the Commanding Officer of a 70 person military police unit in a combat zone.Have you ever been in combat? Yes.And believe it or not, I get asked this: Have you ever killed anyone? I would answer that as I have taken life, spared life, protected life, and saved lives over my years. Along with power comes the ability to show compassion. It’s funny just how many people don’t understand that. To me, life is precious. I have lost many people who I have loved who have left this world way too early in life. I don’t take it for granted.Have you been married and what happened? Yes, we were together for seven years but grew apart. I still respect her a great deal but we are not in contact. I only wish her happiness.Do you have any children? No, I wanted them but we broke up right at the point where we were going to start a family. Still, I am a great uncle and love children.Have you had any serious relationships since? Yes 2, both over 3 years each. One with a wonderful driven ambitious woman and one relationship that should not have happened at all.It says you don’t drink, why not? I decided that life is too precious to waste being stupid. I am talking about me. I have no issue being around others who drink at all. It doesn’t bother me one bit. I just don’t see any purpose for it anymore when it comes to me. I have many friends that do, almost all of them and it’s no issue for me. I can go into a liquor store and by Vodka or wine for my date or Mad Dog for the guy sitting outside the bus station. Ok, I wouldn’t do the Mad Dog thing but my point is, just because I don’t drink, does not mean that I judge or don’t think others should. You ride motorcycles? Yes, I have two. I too have lost friends to bike accidents and in fact almost died myself once. The truth is, I have almost die many times and my friends say I have used up eight of my nice lives. I now know that I am not invincible and I think every day is precious. Also, I would never pressure anyone to ride with me if they didn’t want too, and if I were to meet someone special, and they hated motorcycles, we could find other things to do. When you are with the right person, anything can be fun. Even grocery shopping.Do you like animals and do you have a pet? Yes, I love animals. Sometimes more than people. I don’t have a pet now but wish I did. I had my last pet with me for 20 years and it broke my heart when he had to go. Yes, but only if I am in a hurry.Other than my income, that’s all I can think of right now. I come from a very small loving family and have one brother. I have a very cool mother who comes to the cities to hang out every once in a while. When she comes, my friends all come over to see her. I am very lucky.Best Regards,PaulP.S. I try to respond to as many e-mails as I can but sometimes it just gets to be too much. One thing I promise is tha Drinks, coffee, something light.

Hello there, I have been told I'm in a small group that have been born, raised, and still living here, and very happy. I do love the ocean, and have been very fortunate to have worked on the waterfront for the last thirty five years. As this is winding down, It's time to watch some waves elsewhere. Family is also very important to me. I have three lovely daughters who have grown into three beautiful women. I do enjoy all types of music except for rap. I am not into the club scene. I do enjoy strolling down to the local pub on the weekend for a couple of beer and playing the meat draw, watching the band and having a dance or two. Bye for now.
