Its summer and I figure that it might be time to update my profile since I have begun actually participating in online dating. I have been a member for a long time but mostly just looking with an occasional *** someone if their profile somehow touches’ me. I looked at my favorites and some of the women probably don’t even belong anymore. I am a very happy person and well established and I don’t mind being alone. But, I would prefer to find someone that I want to be around (don’t we all?) and look forward to seeing. I don’t follow blindly and I question most everything. I decide what is right and stand my decision but always listen to the other side without a closed mind.5. I should be honest and admit that I don’t understand women. But I also think that is what makes them so wonderful.6. I believe implicitly that every young man in the world is fascinated with either Star Wars or dinosaurs. But then, that’s natural and how it should be. Unless of course the young man has never heard of Star Wars or Dinosaurs. 7. I believe that Mitochondria is the “Powerhouse of the cell”. I am a Supervisor in Federal Law Enforcement and yes I carry a weapon. I even wear a suit and tie at work now and then.What did you do in the military? Yes.And believe it or not, I get asked this: Have you ever killed anyone? I would answer that as I have taken life, spared life, protected life, and saved lives over my years. Along with power comes the ability to show compassion. It’s funny just how many people don’t understand that. To me, life is precious. I have lost many people who I have loved who have left this world way too early in life. I don’t take it for granted.Have you been married and what happened? Yes, we were together for seven years but grew apart. I still respect her a great deal but we are not in contact. I only wish her happiness.Do you have any children? No, I wanted them but we broke up right at the point where we were going to start a family. Still, I am a great uncle and love children.Have you had any serious relationships since? Yes 2, both over 3 years each. One with a wonderful driven ambitious woman and one relationship that should not have happened at all.It says you don’t drink, why not? I decided that life is too precious to waste being stupid. I am talking about me. I have no issue being around others who drink at all. It doesn’t bother me one bit. I just don’t see any purpose for it anymore when it comes to me. I have many friends that do, almost all of them and it’s no issue for me. I can go into a liquor store and by Vodka or wine for my date or Mad Dog for the guy sitting outside the bus station. Ok, I wouldn’t do the Mad Dog thing but my point is, just because I don’t drink, does not mean that I judge or don’t think others should.You ride motorcycles? Yes, I have two. I too have lost friends to bike accidents and in fact almost died myself once. The truth is, I have almost die many times and my friends say I have used up eight of my nice lives. I now know that I am not invincible and I think every day is precious. Also, I would never pressure anyone to ride with me if they didn’t want too, and if I were to meet someone special, and they hated motorcycles, we could find other things to do. When you are with the right person, anything can be fun. Even grocery shopping.Do you like animals and do you have a pet? Yes, I love animals. Sometimes more than people. I don’t have a pet now but wish I did. I had my last pet with me for 20 years and it broke my heart when he had to go. Yes, but only if I am in a hurry.Other than my income, that’s all I can think of right now. I come from a very small loving family and have one brother.
