Hi there!! Just looking to see if I can find a woman with some of the same interests that I have...... I love the outdooors and will pretty much do anything as long as it involves fresh air.. Some of my favorites activities are camping ,fishing, quading, golfing, boating, bacci ball, Swap meets, drag races, rodeos or the air shows.. I have even jumped out of a plane.. I am very open and will try anything atleast once...... I like to do things around my home and my yard, yes even plant flowers..... I like to cook and like to BBQ food the most, So you make the salad and I'll cook the steak or chicken and veggies. It's way more fun when we can cook together.. I will try any new food so you can feed me almost anything..lol..... I'm very independant..I have a great job that I've been at for 28 years now.. I have a 14 year old son who spends some time with me during the Summer and on Holidays. . My son lives in the Castlegar area with his Mom.. If your interested in meeting me I have to tell you something ..I had some medical issues last year . I had surgery on my bowel. I have now developed a couple very large hernias on the incision on my abodmen. I'm now waiting for another surgery to put mesh in to fix the problem. But till that happens I have to put up with not looking or feeling my best. It has also forced me to stop working, and go on long term disability . (Update Dec ***I have now had my surgery and I'm on my way to recovery. I won't be able to resume my life totaly yet, I've been told 6 months then I can start getting back to the regular stuff I used to do. It's all Great news for me, so maybe the new year will hold some thing or some one special in it for me.. So if can over look my situation and look towards the future maybe your a keeper.. Would say i'm honest,real,and easy to talk to . love the ocean and walk down to the beach most days and whether it`s rough or dead calm it always gives me a special feeling of tranquility.Sunsets and moon rises are great there too. My friends and family are very important to me.Most of my friends are younger then i but they still can't keep up.I enjoy dancing(some things change with age),not great at it but it feels good :) and most types of music with favorites being reggae, classic rock and top 40. I like meeting people as friends and if anything comes from it fine, if not you can never have too many friends.I`m very honest(sometimes to a fault), easy going, can laugh at myself and one of the happiest individuals i know.I never sweat the small stuff and almost always have a smile.I never really look for love as i have always found it finds you when you least expect it. Honestly i am not on here on a mission but if i found a friend first relationship where the first step is to just enjoy each others company,that would be great. I`ve always been in long relationships,was married once and have no children, although i do love children and get along with them extremely well.I guess it's because i act like a big kid.:)I`m currently enjoying my single time, traveling often and having my life be drama free. I can be a little shy at first(some friends would laugh at that) but it certainly does nott last and once comfortable can be very outgoing.I am extremely loyal and always do what i say i will do.I ALWAYS have fun. I like first dates to be casual like a lunch date or a meeting as friends for a drink.I think some people are more themselves without date pressure and it`s easier to truely get to know each other.
