And while I am not clingy in the least, I do prefer to make most of my plans revolve around she or maybe, YOU and I.As an only child, my Mom taught me to never be selfish and I have a soft spot for the underdogs of this world. I was a very good Dad and was "there" for almost everything important as they grew up. So, I know the value of family relationships and will respect your needs with your family and would like to get involved with a great family where I can fit in. l If you have younger children, that is o.k. too. If they can accept me, I will naturally grow to love them too. I have taught both young married couples and teenagers and they would tell you I can be really fun and often irreverent.... so if you are looking for "boring" or "no personality", pass me by. I have a type A personality and never meet a stranger, but don't crave the attention of most other people or get my kicks out of being president of this, or having my pic in the paper for that.... Does this make sense?By the way, while still a believing Christian, I have done everything you can do in church ten times over and I am glad to let others do most of those things now. I will confess I am skeptical about some things the church has become... so seemingly entertainment oriented at many churches. But I still respect Christians that are steady, dependable folks that don't just tell they are praying for someone, but get off their butts and give or visit or risk involvement with people who are hurting. I try to be that kind of guy myself. But I still believe prayer matters too.Also, if you are someone that holds grudges or can't get over some past hurt or someone that just "writes off" someone because they have offended you at some time... again pass me by. I have to be hit over the head with a "2 by 4" before I get that you are really angry with me. And I am quick to forgive and try to never hold grudges. And loyalty is HUGE for me. I think people are more important than things and that none of us can have too many friends... and that friends are too valuable to be casually tossed aside.. Also, I will always be quick to tell you I am sorry if I know I have stepped "on your toes" in some way. Yes life is too short to waste time being angry... lets get over it, and get back to hugging and kissing and enjoying each other.... Would say i'm honest,real,and easy to talk to . love the ocean and walk down to the beach most days and whether it`s rough or dead calm it always gives me a special feeling of tranquility.Sunsets and moon rises are great there too. My friends and family are very important to me.Most of my friends are younger then i but they still can't keep up.I enjoy dancing(some things change with age),not great at it but it feels good :) and most types of music with favorites being reggae, classic rock and top 40. I like meeting people as friends and if anything comes from it fine, if not you can never have too many friends.I`m very honest(sometimes to a fault), easy going, can laugh at myself and one of the happiest individuals i know.I never sweat the small stuff and almost always have a smile.I never really look for love as i have always found it finds you when you least expect it. Honestly i am not on here on a mission but if i found a friend first relationship where the first step is to just enjoy each others company,that would be great. I`ve always been in long relationships,was married once and have no children, although i do love children and get along with them extremely well.I guess it's because i act like a big kid.:)I`m currently enjoying my single time, traveling often and having my life be drama free. I can be a little shy at first(some friends would laugh at that) but it certainly does nott last and once comfortable can be very outgoing.I am extremely loyal and always do what i say i will do.I ALWAYS have fun.
