Good day! I must revise this part of my profile as it was doing soooooo well for me:-). I am a healthy, active and mature 53 year old male looking for someone to spend the rest of my life with. I enjoy the offerings of the state and it's natural resources. As I look at my impending golden years I hope to spend my winters in a much less snowy end of the country. I must clarify .. I do not travel after dark, bad eyes. If you are further away than that I am sorry .. not in my control! Passions include family time, camping, photography, hiking and if I can get all that together I am a 'happy camper'. I do enjoy my work, I have been in the business for ***years now. I am a pseudo retired restaurant manager. The business is fast paced and demanding, the hours are long and crazy, kids these days don't have the work ethic that we grew up with. So .. I became one of the kids .. I am a server and my schedule is my own. In five years I will retire fully. I hope that in my full retirement the camper will be a second home used for exploring the United States.I am in search of a like soul, with like goals and interests. Funny, inquisitive, polite, caring, sharing, etc. etc. The ability to communicate and when to communicate is vital. Morals and values are important. I don't have children of my own however my family is important and so is yours.!Joe

"Freethinkers are those who are willing to use their minds without fearing to understand things that clash with their own customs, privileges, or beliefs. This state of mind is not common, but is essential for right thinking." ~.. That was an example of, not the limits of my humor, but of the failings of this method of communication. If you were in a silly mood I couldn't see you smile, nor hear your laughter. Lol just doesn't convey the desired effect. However, once I get to know you, I'll at least be able to imagine the expression on your face even if it's playfully rolling your eyes. Life is in the details, and too short for endless texting. Let's talk, meet, and see... "The difference between fiction and reality is that we expect fiction to make sense."--n-Greet: Meet in public, in case you're nuts.lol Meet for a drink...if we are enjoying each others company, have a bite to eat, our first meeting should be short and sweet, after all it's the first time we'll have laid eyes on each other. On the other hand, we may look up at the clock to discover several hours have past, in which case... First date: If you're looking to go bungee jumping, I'm not your guy, but if you like sports, bands, comedy or picnics, then I'm all in. The first date would be an informal affair to start, during which, words and body language will lead us. We can save the death-defying stunts for the second date.
