About Me

I'm just me, easy going don't worry about small stuff, like camping fishing movies just going out and having fun. fishing although I don't eat them and through them back its still fun.I like the Utes, go to the games and cheer them on, not much to cheer about this year but still a fan, always next yearI like to cook try new things, hate to clean up after, thats a guy thing I guess.I sit here trying to think how to put in a nice way my feeling towards drama and the people that thrive on it , there is really no way to put it other than if you are into drama or it is the driving force in your life than hit next....sorry I have no need for it, thanksI'm just me...and you?I don't think you can really know someone or what they are like from reading a profile-so if u want to know more just ask or lets meet-It's easier to get to know someone in person. A casual meet up and talk

I'm an educated cynic who believes in listening.I'd like to find a confident lady to share and monopolize each others time.

Writer, poet, blogger, activist, chess-player, reader, and farmer (no kidding) trying to make this world a safer place in which to grow and live, I believe in leading by participation. Writing several books at this time while preparing for changes in the world happening all around us. Love music of all kinds, especially with soul and heart; I like real music and real art of all kinds.... to include a few (and exclude rap/hip-hop). Really would like to connected to a group of people who know what is really going on in the world, which means people who look beyond "let's go have some fun for fun's sake." This is to say, relationships today ought to be more than that, as we have little time to prepare for what is coming; this includes changes and probable wars that will impact nearly all of us. Who is really prepared? Hence, it's essential to build relationships around trust and honesty interacting as an intimate dynamic. I believe in intimacy and affection; thrift; growing one's own food and some for others; life as a continuous learning process;sharing and exchanging knowledge; forgiveness of others and oneself; moderation in indulgences; non-GMO foods and mostly organic; red wine and chocolate as health foods; camping, hiking, and building shelters; living in tiny houses if possible; looking toward our common future; building stronger bonds with others; reading nonfiction; the value of classic and traditional knowledge; keeping one's word; admitting to one's mistakes; learning practical skills; browsing for old-fashioned useful items in thrift stores and garage sales; inter-generational relationships; learning practical skills; natural rather than pharmacological treatments; and life after death of one's body. If I were to say one day, "it's time to go retreat and live in a well-prepared cave," this should not scare anyone away, as that day might very well be on our horizon. Nevertheless I maintain a strong belief in faith, hope and love. Time is precious so preparation is in order. This is to say, it's essential to communicate well before meeting and making a time commitment. Could be any sort of thing, from coffee at a unique place to meeting with a bottle of red on the beach just for talk and fun. Music ventues . . . where little talk is likely to happen? Day hike on local trails? River walk, park or hemp fest? Pioneer Square or fountains arond town? How about Saturday Market with that cold misty rain early on Sunday? Campfire and favorite beverages on a cool night? Watch a sunset from Mt. Another show in OMSI Planetarium or a movie in McMeniman's? The Tea Room on NW 23rd or Laughing Planet for a fat burrito? Volunteer time at a food bank or cutting grapes for a grape harvest ... we get to stomp on the grapes and drink home-made wine from prior years? Lots of fun things can start after four-twenty in the afternoon, and I'm open to most ideas.
