I am an honest, hardworking, caring man who discovered my love for nursing later in life. I can be serious and goofy too. I love to laugh and make others laugh. I am told that I look younger than my years. I crave excitement but enjoy relaxing as well. I love music and (try to) play guitar and harmonica. I have a music room in my house and enjoy getting together with friends to jam when I can. I have been known to karaoke and I enjoy dancing (badly). I like most kinds of music. I decide whether I like it by how it makes me feel rather than the genre. When I play music (instruments) I lean towards blues and classic rock. I love live music, concerts and the energy of the crowd.I work evenings at a hospital unit which keeps me busy but I am fortunate to have 5 days off every other week which gives me the opportunity for travel/adventure. I have two wonderful adult daughters who are my heart. One is a lab scientist and the other lives with me while she is working on her physics degree. I believe chivalry is a requirement, and see PDA as natural and healthy. I like cats and dogs but don't have the time for them now. Still working on my bachelors degree but will get there as I can. I have my own house that I am slowly updating and I am adept at fixing/repairing things. I like working with my hands in many different ways and I have many tools. I love the outdoors, camping, hiking and getting out into the woods although it has been a while since I have been able to fulfill these desires.I could go on but would rather hear about you. I am looking to meet attractive, sensitive, open minded, caring independent people who are willing to start as friends and see if anything develops. Athleticism and an adventurous spirit are a must. Please also have a positive attitude, be non-judgmental and be someone who looks for the best in people/situations (without being naive/gullible about it of course).
