Life is like a roll of toilet paper..........the closer you get to the end, the faster it goes!If you're attracted or looking for the "bad boy" type, thanks for looking, but I'm not that guy. Here's some real life info on me. I made it to 55 a couple of months ago. I've worked at my civil service job for 37 years.I own my own home and have no mortgage or any other long term bill that require monthly payments except for the usual monthly stuff like electricity, water, etc. I have no relatives living within ***If that's not an issue for you then read on....My interests are many. The problem is, there's not enough time to enjoy each one, so I've had to focus on just a few. I've started planning my summer garden and have had the veggie seeds started for several weeks. I've got several motorcycle trips planned for the season. Here's the disclaimer! Yes, I do like to see the sights from the seat of a bike. But I'm not a "hard core biker", I just like to travel and see the beauty of the area where we live. Motorcycling just happens to be the vehicle to get me to these places. It's more economical than a car! I'm a member of the BMWMOA, Harley Owners Group (HOG) and the Antique Motorcycle Club of America.As I get older, I have an enhanced appreciation for this life I've been given, but do realize that some day it will come to an end. Therefore, knowing that, I value each day that I've been blessed with and do try to make the best use of my time. It would be great to meet another who also has come to realize that we are not going to live forever on this earth and also wants to make the most of the time we've been given. I'm HWP and am, more or less, seeking the same, HWP, in a match and someone close to my age. I think we may relate better by having the common experience of living through the 60's and up to the present day. But again, that's not a must have. I work out regularly through the winter months 3 or 4 days a week at a local gym and watch what I eat. If you do the same, them we already have something in common. I'm an active guy and I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, which I'm able to participate in because I stay reasonably fit. If we can't keep up with each other and enjoy the same activities together....what's the point? Sorry if this sounds harsh, just being real.I enjoy country music, light rock from the 70's or 80's, Christian artists and talk radio. I like it that most of you like to dance, but, sorry to say, I've never been much of a dancer. I would be willing to give it a whirl with the right person and I could be quick to learn. I'm tall and would probably match better with a tall girl, but it's not a "must have". I'm not interested in drunks or drug addicts, which include cigarette smokers and the health issues that go with those choices. I'm looking to start with a friendship so we can get to know each other over time.I lean toward the conservative in my thought's and actions and everything that goes along with it and I have no interest in being politically correct just to 'fit in'. I'm an old school guy with good manners. I'm very easy to get along with. If you want to meet me, just say 'Hi'....I won't bite...too hard. The pictures I've posted were shot in this year. Please post a current picture, guys are visual. Please don't contact me if you haven't posted a current picture. Its only fair the I've showed you mine, now you show my your's...picture, that is. Meet and greet, maybe over coffee or tea if that's your comfort level. I don't use alcohol, but don't mind it you do. So a meet at a bar ain't gonna work for me.I'd rather do some kind of out door activity, weather dependent.
