About Me

First off: Im a receptionist/secretary for an assisted living facility 9+ hours a day. I grew up in a city with no culture or excitement, so I try to channel my sense of adventure as much as possible to make up for lost time. I love traveling and I'll find any excuse to hit the road. I'm into someone who has their priorities in order and can take a joke. Someone who can be serious and a total goofball within the same breath. That's basically me in a nutshell. But if you're interested....Music is my life. When I'm not making music, I'm listening to it. I play around ten *** I'm always wanting to learn more. If it's got two chords and some soul chances are I'll love it. I'm always down to hear some new artists, so if you feel like you have something obscure and indie let me know :) I'm also a concert nut. I love going to live shows. There's something about hearing music blend right in front of you that gets my blood pumping and my mind racing. I'm big on humanitarian work and I'm always looking for new ways to assist and be a helping hand for people in need. As I stated previously, I work in the health care field and I love every minute. Working with the elderly is truly a rewarding experience and I feel like I grow as a person everytime I step behind my desk. For one week every year I get to meet amazing people and teach children how to play music, all while getting some fresh air/perspective in ways you can only experience on the top of a mountain :)I'm the most flexible person you'll ever meet. I'm down for anything you'd ever wanna do. Wanna meet for a beer or two at your favorite bar? Let's do it. Want some killer nachos on a Tuesday night? I know a place. Kayaking on the river? I'm there. I'm always up for something new and exciting so the sky is the limit. I feel like an ideal first date should be low key. The whole purpose is to get to know the other person and have a good time, so somewhere inbetween a drive thru and feeling under-dressed in a shirt and tie would be ideal. Anything but a movie. I feel like a first date can be awkward enough without sitting next to a stranger in silence for two hours :P
