I am currently a resident and a firefighter. Being a resident has changed my life significantly. I now know what I want to do and enjoy doing it. I enjoy going to work because it doesn't feel like work. I enjoy giving back to the community and the people that live in it. I enjoy hunting, shooting clay pigeons, going for a drive that you have no clue where it leads to, riding out in the desert hoping you have enough gas to get you back to the truck so you don't have to push it back or call someone, playing in the mud when it rains enough, watching movies loud so you can feel the bass in your stomach, and have bon fires that you can sit with your friends have a beer and just chat about whatever.
