Depending on the persons interest perhaps going to some sort of exhibit, festival, or even a museum could be interesting and could possibly be an opportunity to find common grounds with each other. I know for sure getting some good food at a restaurant is a must, not only does this give us an opportunity to eat a delicious meal, but also just getting to know one another.
