I have an interest in antiques and every now and then going to flea markets or estate sales to do some treasure hunting. Also enjoy going to Car shows, older classic cars, hot rods, and of course corvettes, as I would like to own my own '67. My children and I have been through the Hell of battling and losing my husband to cancer. I do not have the luxury of a partner in parenting so I cannot count on my "free" time (drool). Men who are "simple" or avoidant always end up frustrated with me. OK I'm sure a huge amount of you have signed off by now....so what else? I'm passionate, affectionate, funny, and practice honesty as a never ending character builder. This means I don't lie, not even the so called "white" kind and expect the same in return. Cooking is my therapy making something new almost nightly (more intensive sessions occur with wine and Frank Sinatra added). I keep my circle small as I believe in giving a lot of attention to the people I love. I love the outdoors, my mental health is managed mostly with cycling, yoga and phone calls to my bestfriend and brother. I laugh really loud at the funny parts...(don't take me to a funny movie if you're easily embarrassed in public)!! I am the successful mother to two incredible young teens. As they require increasing independence it has the added benefit of freeing me up more and more. I get glimpses of the light at the end of a pretty long, fascinating tunnel, and I'm looking forward to cultivating the relationship that is for my future.
