I am new to this ‘online dating’ game and to be honest, I have been a little skeptical that I can meet a nice guy on here, that shares some of my same interests and has some of the qualities I am looking for but I am willing to give it a try. I was divorced over 3 years ago after a long marriage and I have 2 kids. I work in customer service and in my down time I like to see movies, read books, find new recipes, take walks, listen to music, go to concerts, spend time with my family and friends, go to baseball games, bowling, etc. My musical tastes are pretty simple – I like rock music and country mostly but also love to listen to 70s/80’s music that I enjoyed growing up with. People tell me I am a very nice and caring person and those are qualities I am also looking for. I like to be respected and in turn will respect others. My pet peeves are rude people and people who think they know it all. I am looking for someone that I can get to know and spend time with and see where it goes from there. I am interested in someone who is curious about the world around them. You can take a joke and are not easily offended. You can string together more than a sentence or two and are a generally happy person that treats others with kindness and compassion. Mostly, you like to laugh and have fun. It would be nice to find someone who I have something in common with but we don't have to share all the same interests. Probably meet for coffee or a drink somewhere and have a chance to talk and get to know each other. Whether the date continues on from there depends on if we hit it off and have things to talk about and in common.
