About Me
I I know it's a bit of a read, however I know what I am looking for and not looking for as well as what I'm not.About me, There is a lot about me that can't be put into words and since I know most don't get past the pictures, let's start with the most important aspects of my life. I'd put divorced in my profile, but I won't lie so I don't, however I mine as well be, I have been separated for 15years.I'm a proud mom of 3 children, or I should say 3 young adults now. I have son who is in his third year of college, and two daughters. One who is going into 12th grade the other in 10th. I am an extremely proud mom who has been raising them alone for the past 15 years. I am a woman who strives to help others through volunteer work, I run a yoga program that help people who live with Multiple Sclerosis and when you get to know me, I'll get into more detail about that. I am a very active volunteer for a variety of things. Selfless service is about paying it forward and is extremely rewarding in return.I am a very young 48 who lives life though the eyes of an optimist, I always tend to see the glass half full, I'm looking for someone who can see that as well. I have been practicing yoga for the past 8 years and 3 years ago I completed my yoga teacher certification, I am currently teaching free yoga to those living with MS to help keep them moving. I like to write when feeling inspired to do so, I've written a few philosophical blogs, mostly inspired on life experiences. I love taking pictures, of nature, noticing nature and appreciating the little things, which I believe makes life beautiful.I love to cook and really enjoy cooking with someone. I love to eat ethnic food, sushi or anything else that I won't make at home...,I'm open to trying almost anything once. I absolutely LOVE nature & being outdoors,especially anywhere near water, is where I'm most at ease, When I'm feeling antsy, the first place I feel the need to retreat to is the ocean and that's where I sit & go within to get back to balance. I'm a very spiritual minded person I'm hoping to find someone like minded, someone who realizes the journey can't be faked through. I am honest to a fault. I have integrity, without that, there is nothing else. I trust easily & don't fare well with those who can't play fair. I have no patience for drama or games. I love to laugh and live life to the fullest. My pictures are extremely recent, there will be NO surprises. What am I looking for?I am looking for a partner, an equal, someone to 'share' my life, eventually share my family with. I'm loyal to a fault;expect & respect that in a man. Honesty & integrity is a must, it's the only way to maintain trust. If an 'open' relationship or you're into serial dating, I'm not your girl. I am one man woman and am looking for a man who is a one woman man. I will always be open and honest with you, it's something I value highly within myself so I value it in a partner as well. I believe living life in the present and staying positive and finding something to be grateful for every day. My yoga practice, both on and off the mat, is what keeps my mind, body and spirit in balance, it really is all about the breath :) I'm hoping to find someone of like mind who can appreciate that in me. Well a first date...does that include the first encounter?...even though dinner is nice, I think it's unfair to both of us, so I'm more open to a cup of coffee or my favorite a chai tea latte (iced during the summer) somewhere we can talk... I'm not into games, so let's keep it real :) I do believe in chemistry, which is why meeting and talking are important.
