About Me

I Believe that to Truly Get to know someone...Actions speak much louder than words~Relationships take work, Trust, constant open lines of communication, no relationship or circumstance is Perfect. When two people are compatible and TEAM players (Together Each Achieves More)have similar interests, values and long term goals, Life together is a Journey not a Destination-Sharing your dreams and passions with someone can be a Fun Adventure…An 80 year old client told me "it is much better to be alone than to be married or in an empty relationship and lonely"Life is about Choices~ I don't believe any of us make mistakes... we make choices~Sometimes we aren't Happy with the consequences of our choices, but to be negative, bitter, resentful or stagnant and to not learn and move forward just wastes Priceless Moments~Consequences and Life's experiences help each of us to grow....My motto is... " EEM"~ Enjoy Every Moment and be Thankful...as Things could Always be worse!!!~-I have a Great Family and 2 Wonderful children pursuing their goals.I try to think out of the box and be receptive to Open Doors... I try not to be too rigid as I know thateverything happens for a reason and sometimes something Good has to end for something Better to happen!Change can be Good, but unfortunately many fear change as they like routine, comfortable and predictable, but could be missing out on the Extraordinary by not being open to Life's possibilities~I am told that I am an optimistic positive person, honest and have an Amazing heart...I really appreciate and admire people who show their true colors and accept who they are both the Good and the Bad, try to Improve daily and don't try to be someone they are not!-I can dress up or dress down depending on the occasion or event- I like Adventure and trying new things~ Travel, Movies, Museums,Concerts, Plays, being Outdoors- Photography, Gardening, Hiking, Skiing, Tennis, Dancing, Camping, Watching boxing and MMA~ Exploring! I eat at Healthy, don't smoke and stay Active~ PS~If you are currently married or in a relationship Please be respectful and do not contact me... Thanks for reading my Profile~ Coffee,Lunch,Dinner or Something Creative we mutually come up with...

My favorite areas to R&I'm pretty smart; I'm a bibliophile and I love crossword puzzles and Sudoku. The current reading list (I read 7 or 8 books at a time; and no I'm not ADHD) includes: Rasputin, The Mad Monk;; and A Journal of the Plague Years). I'm also a published author. One of my pics is the pic that is on the cover of my books. Some of you have asked what I write. Late 19th century American history; post-Civil War, railroad tycoons, lumber barons, and the gilded age from the area in which I grew up. It's a very niche market so I don't think any author on the NYT best seller list has anything to worry about. But it is nice to receive a royalties check from my publisher twice each year, even if said royalties only cover my expenses, but then again I do write off those expenses so I suppose I come out ahead. I think it's more important to be able to share the history and educate people, rather than worry about the money part of it.Hobbies include linguistics and foreign languages (Latin, Spanish, Italian, French, Russian, German, Dutch, Arabic), as well as etymology and onomastics. As for music tastes, I prefer anything Celtic or Scottish, but rock and roll old school works.; i.e., the Bunny Boiler). I have two sons, both of whom are no longer at home. So it's just Simba (an American red brindle pit I rescued from the local shelter) and me.I take an avid interest in politics (I'm a conservative) and often volunteer during campaign/election season. Anything else you want to know feel free to ask!I'd like to find a nice fellow to settle down with. But if you are insecure, have jealousy issues or need me to be your babysitter and hold your hand ***then don't bother. My entire career I've worked with men (pro baseball, military) and I do work with men now, 10:1. I don't need, nor do I want, any crap. I'm not a big texter, and if you call and I don't answer I'll get back to you; if I don't answer it means I'm busy. I have a life that I enjoy, I'd just like to share it with someone. But, again, I'm not going to be at your beck and call. Dinner and a movie sounds so cliche, and I don't want to be stuck with someone for hours on end if things don't click. I think meeting for a drink and darts would be a better first date option.
