Before I get started...just a quick note regarding your pictures....Unless there is a body of water, (e.g. ocean, lake, river, creek or pool) any pictures without a shirt would be a deal breaker. There needs to be a reason for the shirt off. A bathtub, sink or toilet is not considered a 'body of water'; nor is it a reason to take a self-portrait flexing your muscles in front of the mirror. I’m just sayin. :) (I can’t tell you how many profiles have pictures of shirtless men flexing in their bathrooms!!!) Okay, enough about you...let's talk about ME!! (Boy, I hope you have a sense of humor!!)I love laughing and making other's laugh. I love to travel. Skiing in the winter is something I try to do each year and would like to find someone that has the same interest or would be open to learning. I also enjoy the water....boating, skiing, or just relaxing around a pool overlooking the ocean, lake, river or creek. (Just not a tub, sink or toilet ? For my profession....I have been a Contract Negotiator, in both the Telecom and Software industries for the last 16 years, but now work in the Wireless Industry and really enjoy it.My friends and family would describe me as generous and funny.( Although, I mostly self-deprecating.. I think I shock them at times as I'm not afraid to laugh at myself!! How do you describe what you are looking for? I want the same things every other gal wants. There is no greater feeling than being in love!! (Other than giving birth, looking into your child’s eyes, you know what I mean.) . Having that special someone to come home to, either to tell them about some good news and know he is your biggest cheerleader.... Or that shoulder to lean on when the day wasn't so great and getting the biggest bear hug!! ....just the feeling of being safe and loved. Hmmm...nothing better than that!! (And I love doing the same for my partner... (LORD knows I've kissed enough frogs!!.....P.S.There’s one last thing I should address. It’s probably the number one question everyone asks. ’Why have you never married?!?!?’ Well, that’s both an easy AND complex answer, but here is the short answer:I believe anyone and everyone can find a husband or wife…that’s not difficult. I’m a firm believer in marriage, and I hope to find that one day…. I truly do!! BUT, I won’t settle. I have many friends, both male and female, that have admittedly married for the wrong reasons. (e.g. ‘I thought she would make a great mother to my children’, ‘All my friends were doing it’, or ‘I just didn’t’ want to be alone’ etc.) I know very few people that are truly happily married. In fact, many tell me they are miserable. Well, I have made the conscience decision (and I know there are no guarantees) that I won’t marry unless I feel, in the depth of my heart and soul, that this is the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. Now, I like to think that ‘the rest of my life’ is a looooong time from now. And either I can choose to wait until I find that ‘special’, ‘one of a kind’, ‘incredible connection’ that comes along,…… OR, I can choose to settle and be miserable. This is how I look at it: It’s REALLY easy to be miserable alone; you don't necessarily need company! I would rather wait for that someone special. Marriage, to me, is both one of the most IMPORTANT and UNIMPORTANT decisions you 'choose' in your life……….I’ve just chosen ‘patience’.
