Woman. 47 years old. Zodiac sign: Sagittarius.
Looking for: man. In age: 44-54
Came here start up a business with a friend who seemed interested in his business idea until I got here. Once I arrived I discovered his health wasn't that great and he wasn't that interested or motivated to do the business after all. So there's no reason to stay in this boring town. In a few months I'm out of here for good. Looking for a well-travelled, sophisticated, smart man. I prefer foreign men ideally who are well-traveled, sophisticated, cultured, super smart, and entrepreneurial. I like super nerds/techies and professor types in addition to entrepreneurs. I need someone who is well-traveled and cultured.I've travelled all over the world and have many interests and have had a number of occupations in various industries including fashion, the arts, international sales and technology. I'm an entrepreneur at heart and am working on my next venture(s). I take care of myself and am kind of a health nut. Will reveal more in private e-mails if interested. I like foreign men particularly Asian. Also open to the idea of leaving America to live abroad permanently if I found the right person. Also, the climate appeals to me. The only thing that seems to be lacking is the multi-cultural aspect of an international city but otherwise from what I've read it sounds pretty good. I lived abroad for over 10 years in different cultures where I adopted various likes and values which is why I tend to go out with foreign men. They seem to have a broader, world perspective that a lot of Americans lack. Like most people I'm looking for someone who I can share common experiences and interests with. The most important thing about a first date is that we have a chance to talk and get to know each other so going to a movie or a concert probably wouldn't provide the best opportunity for a lot of conversation. I think perhaps going out for a drinks and appetizers followed by viewing a new show at a gallery would be fun. Or meeting for dinner or coffee and a walk in an interesting area of town (hope there are interesting areas in town). It's not so important what the itinerary is but that there is an opportunity for conversation.

Woman. 48 years old. Zodiac sign: Pisces.
Looking for: man. In age: 45-55
I'm 48, single and have one child (teenager now...not sure I'll survive that period!) who was born in the FL Keys and is the light of my life. I'm 5'7, blond/blue and I can carry a conversation with anyone from presidents to janitors (and I have! lol). I’m as independent as they come. I always do my own thing and I’ve been taking care of myself (and someone else) for a long time now, but am absolutely not adverse to being taken care of (in fact that would be nice). I think chivalry is the cornerstone of any civilized society (yes that means it's YOUR job to contact ME on here as well as anywhere, that's just biology, otherwise you're just not that into me! ;o) and I totally think YOU should shovel the snow... ..ok that's such a GUY's job!)!). I'm very attuned into our big Universe out there and Mother Nature. I've studied many different religions/philosophies and ended up with my own mix which I like. I also could care less what people think about me. I do well living my life independent of the good opinion of others. I was raised with many different types of people around me as a kid and am totally comfortable with any and all types. There are some I like better than others but I think people do their best with what's been given to them. I need someone who's been around the block a few times and isn't easily shaken/offended/impressed.I LOVE to travel (wildlife is a major high for me... get this: I petted a whale!!!...well maybe she petted me or she let me pet her to be exact lol ) and would love to have more time to do it! Angelina has nothing on me.. well maybe a couple of things...)... and of course I haven't finished hitting the National parks here. Geez so many places so little time! If you're an 'international' type even better. Bonus point for oenophiles. I love to be on/in/under/around water (any) and always default to it somehow. Notice I didn't say 'the beach', I'm not big on the whole lizard basking in the sun for hours thing and I hate crowds. I also tend to travel off (way ,,,way off sometimes) the beaten paths...yes some would call it 'adventurous' some would call it 'crazy' and yet others would call it 'great' it all depends on where your tolerance level for 'beaten paths' is. I'm just as at ease in a big city (born&raised in ***and still love it... now double nationality) as I am in the wilderness even though I'm probably the biggest clutz you've ever met (and as much as I love the outdoors I like my creature comforts)..... tad painful though) ...there must be a God watching people like me very closely! lol...not to mention I was apparently born without a sense of direction either. I hear it's a girl thing as far as the latter is concerned, but I'm really bad. I will get lost in my own house!...well not this one because I remodeled it top to bottom so I'm starting to know my way around but you know what I mean... the North is always in front of my nose ... (I can hear you cringe! lol)... my compensation for that is I do everything by memory or ASK but somehow there's no one around every time I need people! So if I have never been there before, there's 100% chance I'll get lost. GPS were made to save me from a life of wandering. Oh and I also wash my car the day I sell it and have the unusual superpower of being able to kill anything green just by looking at it. There it's all out in the open. I feel much better :O) I can't scuba dive (emphasis on UNABLE to - long ear drum sob story here) which is a huge regret of mine since I come from a family where everyone does so I content myself with snorkeling (for you pros out there, I know I see just as much but still...)...almost all pics on here are taken on a boat btw so I'm not doing the glamour shots! I can't sail by myself (that direction thing again... turns out the wind can turn!) but I make a GREAT first mate. I can change a wheel and check the oil though if I really really reeeeeally have to.I love to cook/bake (love BBQ but hate to tend it/clean it, so major bonus points for the BBQ experts out there), can live on sushi or anything raw (if you're the typical US male I can guarantee the only thing I don't eat is insects - I don't even want to be around them, I can't handle more than 4 legs and yes that blood curling scream was me... LOL), love to dance (but you don't have to -on all counts), love to read, and love kids in general. I'm flirtatious, mischievous, and love to laugh and yes chemistry is capital but since I'm looking for a true relationship I care about your personality, how smart you are (ok that one REALLY important, you wouldn't believe the number of people who THINK they're smart!), how classy and funny you are, how sweet and kind (as in not full of yourself -I know I just eliminated 99.9% of the male population! JK!). I am looking for a guy honest with his feelings and confident enough to express them, able to trust, someone I can respect and admire and who is able to do the same and show it. I typically respect those who have a strong sense of self, depth, perseverance, an insatiable curiosity, a sense of adventure, feel enriched by differences rather than challenged, and who can find humor in everyday situations. ...a first date isn't about "what/where" it's about "who"... who cares about the what! Diner/movie/drinks/picnic/fillintheblank!!! ...or come to think of it, anything involving gummy bears!
