About Me

This is my reboot! There are some terrific people here but I haven't found the one who makes my heart race when he sends me a text or gives me a quick call. Places, people and things I enjoy: I grew up on the east coast so I love water and beaches and I don't care where the sand gets! Life seems to be going quickly so taking time to "chill" is essential. I am looking for a smart and funny man who enjoys music, friends, quiet evenings at home and dressing up for a special evening out. I am hoping that you can express himself and his opinions. Tell me what you're thinking-I know you aren't a mind reader and my crystal ball is on the fritz so lets be open with each other! I don't want to argue about politics but a spirited discussion can get the blood moving. I am a smart woman with an interesting life (at least I find my life interesting!) I have good friends and work hard to BE a good friend. To me, it's not the number of people in my life but the quality of people I surround myself with. A healthy lifestyle is also important. I love wine and mourn the loss of Twinkies but in general I eat well and maintain a fitness schedule. I work out 4 times weekly; yoga, cardio-endurance classes, swimming and weight lifting are part of my weekly regime. The "no drama" clause we all see...please, we're human and unless we live in a bubble...there is going to be some drama. I don't create it and don't want to bring drama into my life but when it appears I handle it-how is that for real? Friends can help each other through those times, as well. Random thoughts: I love music of all kinds and there are small venues where I can sit and listen to local musicians and that is probably my favorite way to enjoy a group. New and different kinds of foods are a passion. I enjoy the theatre and am part of the arts in my community-I am an organizer not the talent!I'm looking for someone special and there has to be a spark. It's indefinable but we'll feel it or not. I like wine dinners, cooking classes. I don't watch TV very much. I am weary of men that haven't been married and have no children and probably wouldn't be for me. My mantra is "I choose love"....not romantic love but love vs. fear. I believe in a higher power, call it God, Buddha, whatever suits you. I believe you are responsible and in fact create your reality so I don't cope well with people who make excuses, blame others or have sob stories about their unfortunate circumstances. I am funny, cute, hot, sexy, and you will never get bored. I don't like the word date. To me it equals hypercritical interview that is bound to be misconstrued. I don't really date but would prefer to meet out either in a group or something less stressful. Joining this is fun for me as I did Match as an experiment and out of 7,***views, I went out with 2 people. I meet people in my everyday life but it's fun to play around and see what the universe has in store for you, lol.
