I love life, my children, my family, and my friends. I'm a very happy person who can have a good time wherever I go. I believe every situation is what you make of it! Your profiles can match exactly and that doesn't mean a darn thing. In fact, most of the time opposites attract. It's just that feeling you get when you see someone. It can't be described, but we all know it and are here in search of it! The spark! I was a Navy submarine wife for 17 years, so I know how to be independent. That doesn't mean I don't want a man who holds my hand to lead me into a room and remembers to open my car door from time to time, etc. I also don't need a father figure, I already have the best dad in the world! And no, my children don't need a father either, they have a dad who loves them and lives nearby. I coached junior Olympic competitive gymnastics for 10 years and I really love working with kids, it's the greatest pleasure to coach kids and help them meet their goals! It's such a thrill. I really miss it, but I am thoroughly enjoying my free time! I love concerts, baseball games, pretty much any kind of social activity. I'm a big Yankees fan (sorry, but they do have the cutest players). I love cooking and entertaining, especially in the summer at my pool with friends and margaritas! Call me old fashioned, but I like it when the man plans the date.

I’m a single mother to an active 8 year old boy. He is an awesome kid and the most important thing in my life. So if you are not looking for an ***, I totally understand and wish you luck on your search. I also have 3 beagle/mix dogs so you really need to like dogs, too. They are adorable and loving but total pains in butt and think they are in charge! I’m not a big dater, so I’m looking for someone I can have a relationship with. I know this will take some time, so please have patience cause it’s been a while since I did the whole dating thing! I would like to meet a nice, normal guy to do things with and have fun. I’m a big sports fan – love the Phillies (even though they sucked this year) and the Flyers. I was able to take my son to a few Phillies games this year and it was a blast. I’m a good friend and a good listener but I talk a lot when I’m nervous. I’ve been told I have a good sense of humor and can be sarcastic at times. I have been known to curse as well, so hopefully that won’t offend. My dad always said that profanity was the sign of a poor vocabulary, but I actually have a pretty good vocabulary :) I cry at sad movies and have been known to laugh when I probably shouldn’t. I prefer beer to wine, sleeping late to getting up early and jeans & flip flops to dresses & heels. But I can dress up :) Coffee or a drink to meet and get to know each other.
