I love life, my children, my family, and my friends. I'm a very happy person who can have a good time wherever I go. I believe every situation is what you make of it! The true test of someone's character is not what happens to you in life, but how you choose to handle it. I am a very honest, trustworthy, loyal, generous, affectionate and loving person. I have a great sense of humor....what can I say, I'm perfect like everyone seems to be on dating sites! It can't be described, but we all know it and are here in search of it! The spark! I was a Navy submarine wife for 17 years, so I know how to be independent. That doesn't mean I don't want a man who holds my hand to lead me into a room and remembers to open my car door from time to time, etc. I also don't need a father figure, I already have the best dad in the world! And no, my children don't need a father either, they have a dad who loves them and lives nearby. I coached junior Olympic competitive gymnastics for 10 years and I really love working with kids, it's the greatest pleasure to coach kids and help them meet their goals! It's such a thrill. I really miss it, but I am thoroughly enjoying my free time! I love concerts, baseball games, pretty much any kind of social activity. I'm a big Yankees fan (sorry, but they do have the cutest players). I love cooking and entertaining, especially in the summer at my pool with friends and margaritas! Call me old fashioned, but I like it when the man plans the date.
