Ok.. so here we go. I've been here before but still havent found that special someone. I am not looking for the "perfect guy".. just someone who is perfect for me. I love music, I sing all the time. I've done recording in a studio (thats a blast!!) and very proud of it. Alot of people have this cookie-cutter checklist of the person they're looking for. Rest assured, I dont. The one thing that IS mandatory is a sense of humor. Well.. thats not entirely true. I do have a checklist of what I'm NOT looking for. Allow me to elaborate...1~ If your profile pic is your most recent mug shot... move along scooter ;)2~.. pass3~ If it takes at least 4 drinks for you to NOT be a jerk.. again, pass lolOther than that.. we can play it by ear ;)I have 4 tattoos. Nothing trashy and no tramp stamp. All of them have special meaning for me in one way shape or form. If tattoos are a turn off.. sorry lolOk.. so interests....I love going to movies, Its just no fun going alone. Comedies....Action flicks.. just about anything but no horrorAs far as tv? Dont laugh.. HUGE Walking Dead fan!! Criminal minds, Deadliest Catch. Breaking BadMusic? Just about anything but Rap. I find myself singing alot of different music. My favorites are country and classic rock. Kinda irritates me that music I love is now considered "oldies".. lol just sayinPlease be LOCAL. I get several messages from people out of state, sorry,,, just not willing to do that. I also dont date outside my race. Nothing personal, just my own personal preference.

I'm not really comfortable talking about myself, but I've been told I have to on here, so here goes. . . I'm sweet, caring, thoughtful and understanding,(so I've been told), and have a good sense of humor but can also be sarcastic at times. Oh yeah, I'm extremely honest, too - sometimes to a fault. ;) And BTW - when I truly love someone I give 110%. That's the good stuff. I'm in no way perfect, though. Can't really tell you the negative, different people bring out different quirks in me. Just gotta get to know me and decide for yourself if the good outweighs the quirks. (Gotta be honest. lol) I love to sing and I sing in and choreograph for a local community choir. I'm very active in community theater, (musicals, both on stage and off) and also in my church. I like almost all kinds of music - except rap and old-school, twangy country - and I can even tolerate some of that for a little while, lol - just don't choose to listen to it on my own. I like going to live concerts, but snuggling and drinking wine with a good CD works too. I also love to laugh and joke around, even at my own expense sometimes, and I really enjoy a good comedy show. I have two teenagers and two cats. Gotta be upfront - my kids are extremely important to me. Taking care of them is my top priority. That doesn't mean that whoever I'm with is any less important to me - just have to make sure my kids are ok and taken care of before myself. (I have shared custody and they're with me 3 or 4 days every week.) As far as relaxing, I read, go to the beach when I can, and I like to play board and card games (my friends and I usually have a game night once a month).- especially musicals, and on occassion I may even pay the ridiculous prices to go to the movies for a new comedy or action film *** waiting till it comes out on cable. LOL There are many more things I enjoy, but if I write them all here, what would I have to talk about when we get to know each other? ;) I'm looking for someone who makes me comfortable enough to just be myself -no matter what mood I'm in - and who can also be himself with me - no matter what. Noone should have to change for anyone else. Someone I can laugh with, have fun with, and just experience life with. Someone who makes me forget about the rest of the world when we are together. We should share some of the same interests, but also have our own, separate interests, that we can share and introduce to each other. OK - I'll admit it - I want to be swept off my feet and feel like I've never felt before. It's not how you look, but how you make me feel when we're together. Simply put, I'm looking for my soulmate . . .and YES. . .I KNOW and BELIEVE he exists.Could that person be you? If I haven't scared you off, (I realized I managed to write more than I thought I could) and you think you might be, I'd love to hear from you. I'm open for suggestions, but somewhere where we could talk and get to know each other without having to shout.
