About Me

Well, I've been at this a little while and I've had some nice dates and met some great people but just not "the one". I have learned more about myself and what I want and what I don't so I thought it time to rewrite my profile. I am a 48 year old woman with a great career and a terrific teenage son. I'm busy but still find the time to spend with that special someone. I love to play golf so that would defintly help and I love to travel whenever I get the chance. My son is an athlete so I spend a good deal of time in high school gyms watching basketball and I enjoy professional football and basketball as well so you should be a sports fan. I am definitly the corporate woman by day, but after that I can do the****ail dress and heels or the jeans and a tee shirt, whatever the occassion calls for. With Spring just around the corner I would enjoy meeting someone to spend time with enjoying the hopefully nice weather. I love the beach or even just walking on the boardwalk, craft shows, or just a drive to no where. I'd like to visit some wineries this spring and learn more about local wines. So, if your a basically down to earth guy who likes the "normal" things in life I would love to hear from you. It's really not that complicated! Please be over all your ex wife's, girlfriends, etc..... Probably a drink in a nice bar or pub, or in the spring anywhere you can sit outside. If there's a spark maybe move onto dinner.

    If you selected "I want a relationship" from the above, there's a good chance we're looking for the same thing. With the right person. I don't have a lot of preconceived notions as to who I am looking for, but if you have children it helps provide a certain mutual perspective. As does kindness, honesty, and good senses of adventure and humor. I spend a lot of time with my children and friends, and am very active. I have a yoga practice that I'm trying to be consistent about. I think it's interesting that this site draws a line at "Drink Socially" and "Often" where "Often"=>3x/week". I probably have a glass of wine or beer just about every night (so, um, 7x/week). I consider myself a social drinker. Not so sure what Dr Oz would say. I listen to NPR, and turn on the music when it gets redundant, or during membership drives (after I've renewed my own membership, of course). I like the way it enables me to multitask (fix breakfast+lunch AND get the news). I do not ***, but actively follow a few important accounts *** let's me know when Alternate Side Parking is suspended or not); *** makes me laugh (sometimes) and I think it's neat that God *** me.I love a good story, from a book, movie, play, song or friend (or a really great, perfectly delivered joke; I can take them but I can't tell 'em). And I love the different ways that stories move us. Apparently, I'm big on parentheses (see above). Ideally, once we have established via *** that we are interested in meeting one another, we'll figure out a time and place to make it happen. Nothing fancy, just some place where we can talk and get to know each other.
