About Me

I am a strong, independent, successful woman who is looking for a man who isn't intimidated by that and who knows how to treat a lady!I am a country girl at heart, but have lived in large cities most of my adult life. I have recently moved to a horse farm in the country along a river. It is my slice of heaven. I can adapt to any situation and am good at putting other people at ease. I like to try new things and have an adventurous spirit. I am easy going, like to smile and laugh and am not afraid to laugh at myself. I have horses but only one is rideable at the moment so a lot of my free time is spent with them and helping take care of the other horses here. There are three other dogs on the farm here and a bunch of cats and a Brahma bull, so never a dull moment! I feel truly blessed to be living my dream. I am passionate about music, I like to sing and like to watch live bands whenever I can. I play brass ***, dabble with the guitar and keyboard. I love to cook and enjoy cooking new and different things. I love to travel and have been to most of the US and have been to several foreign countries.I enjoy being outdoors whenever possible. I like to have the wind blowing through my hair. I like fishing, boating, swimming, windsurfing, sailing, floating, kayaking, anything that gets me on the water. I am as comfortable dressing up as I am dressing down although most days you will find me in boots and blue jeans and covered in dirt or grease. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty. And I can bait my own hook LOL! I am not high maintenance although sometimes you wouldn't know it by looking at me! I love living out in the country and being able to drink my coffee on the deck and watch the sun come up over the trees. I work in the city so my days are spent there but my nights and weekends are spent on the farm. I can be a real girly girl so don't let the grease on my knuckles fool you, I do clean up well and enjoy being treated like the woman I am. I work hard so I can play hard and buy myself the nice things that I like, be it horses and motorcycles or dresses and heels and jewelry LOL! I am passionate about motorcycles, love to be riding! Either on my own or as a passenger. I am looking for someone who can make me smile and warm my heart. Someone who is affectionate and fun to be with. Someone who is confident in who they are and can accept me for who I am and not try to mold me into something I am not. I am comfortable in my own skin and am okay with who I am. I love to cook and am very good at it. I love to have friends over and to cook for them, its just how I am. And I am pretty handy with a gun and a knife. I do my best every day to help others, even if it is just to share a smile. But you would be foolish to mistake my kindness for weakness, many have and I am running out of places to bury them... JUST KIDDING! Obviously I have a wicked sense of humor. It runs in my family. The running joke is if a new girlfriend/boyfriend can survive a family get together they are a keeper. Laughter is good for the soul and truly is the best medicine. I enjoy meeting new friends and trying new things, so drop me a line! Ultimately I am looking for a relationship but am not jumping into anything... The best things in life are worth the wait!If you have even made it this far, I am a drama free zone. As my daddy likes to say, "It takes all kinds to make the world go round... and there ain't a one missing". And there are sure represented in force here on POF!
