So, here we are... Looking to find new friends, date a bit, friendship is important to me. Honesty, mutual respect and being able to communicate with each other are key. I am looking for someone who values and respects himself, as well as those in his life. He has a tender heart that is open to new people and new relationships. I'm not into material things, or internally driven by money, in fact I'm more interested in living as lightly as we can on this earth. I don't need fancy cars, lots of makeup and over the top clothes to make me feel better about myself. I think mutual attraction is important. At this point in my life I'm not out to win a beauty contest, I just am who I am. I try to eat healthy and be active. I would look for a partner who feels the same way and is not wrapped up in appearances, impressed by material items and obsessed with looks. I think bald is sexy, by the way, so you don't have to hide under a hat around me :-) But I can do hair too :-) Ultimately, I want to live this life with a partner. Life is to be shared with someone, friends and family are important too. But for now, let's just see how it all unfolds. Things I find attractive about people: * Their word and handshake are the real deal. * They respect them self and others. * They have a genuine smile and laugh and sense of humor. * They are true to strong morals and ethics and don't change these to fit their current situation. * They just are who they are and they know WHO they are. Turnoffs: * People who lie.*People who thrive on drama. * People who lie about their age on dating sites.* Controlling people. * Angry or negative people. * People who post they generate a large income just to impress. * People who are not mature enough to take responsibility for their own thoughts and actions. * People who are too damaged from past baggage and have a closed heart. * People who can't spell, I mean use spell check for Pete's sake! A couple typos are ok... LOL* People who think an online format relieves them of common courtesy.

I am a single laid back Northwest Native who likes all the girlie things but is mechanical too. Love to learn about new stuff. My favorite cars are Bug Eyed Sprites and Vintage Mustangs but who doesn't love the old muscle cars? I grew up driving British Motor Cars. They have a special smell. I also like to go junking and antiquing. I love photography and for a woman I am very visual. I teach organic gardening and permaculture methods so I do love bugs and compost. I like being a sustainable date... its not quite the same as being cheap... but to use our imagination to have fun. I used to own a Harley...Sigh....it had to be sold to pay some business taxes. I hope to have one again. It's that loud noise that gets your own motor going and most of it is still made in America. The pictures are current and not from 10 years ago...I can look very different from picture to picture and it is genetic, my father modeled in Vogue...it really is me. This may be the new norm but not for me. Real men like real women. I am a real woman and most of my life I have played sports and skiied. I do not have long fingers nails because I am too active. I am new to meetville and have yet to take all the tests and earn points. It is a bit like a video game? I am sensuous earthy woman down to earth woman who is compassionate, warm and witty. I have lots of company in that area. The Northwest attracts us. Seriously looking for a down to earth human guy who likes the outdoors and is open minded. It seems they go hand in hand. I also enjoy art and music as I am a tad on the arty intellectual side but not so serious about it that it gets boring or repetitive.;Mad Hat" I like the "sardonic" humor of the owner and the fact he plays "Creature from the Black Lagoon" I like jazz, R&B and the Blues period. I also like classical and old school dance music like Sir Mix Alot and creative rap. I do have the moxie to go out dancing by myself. Girls like to dance! I would be game. Love movies, the really weird ones...not violent but interesting. Kinky can be good. Yes, I did go see Pirates...disappointed but the costumes were great....ever see the "Ref"? since I am Irish and French. I appreciate smart ass humor the most. My favorite subject is history and I also like foreign movies and romantic period pieces but I am comfortable seeing those on my own. Sometimes I watch these movies with the sound off just to look at the art direction. I consider myself a gun toting progressive. I grew up in a family that hunted, fished, and farmed and read books. I eat meat, Food is an aphrodisiac and Northwest Natives eat their salmon smoked and their oysters raw. I commute between cities and hope we get to experience really high speed trains some day. In the meantime I am going keep learning to ride a motorcycle and keep riding my bicycle. I think 2 wheels are better than 4 most days. Thanks for contacting me, and let us all wish for sun.
