Ok...here goes... I'm cheerful, friendly and positive and probably laugh too much. I don't deal much (if at all) in anger and hostility. Not sure I have those 'parts'. lol. Though I AM what the "few extra pounds" category should be for. But I've finally accepted the 'POF reality' (lol) that here, that category tends to mean something else altogether. People are busy. I don't want to disrespect anyone's time by pretending to be something I'm not. My pics are very recent... None of the ones that make me hit 'delete' with frightening speed - lol... Hi Ok... the fun side: I'm outgoing. I can be really funny (well I think so)... and you will too, if you like me being sarcastic! If you don't like that, you won't like me. If I see that door open I'm taking it :). I love music and concerts.. i love jumping in the car and exploring. And the water? oh yeah Im in... :) Do you like cooking? I do! I love discovering how to cook a new gourmet meal at home... i might let you help if yer nice :). Summer time I love to kayak and own two. The beach you will find me enjoying year round. But I wouldn't call myself a sun worshiper. More enjoy the smell of salt air and the treasures the sea creates. I am comfortable in many roles. I spent a long career in management and now while I still manage my own business my lifestyle is relaxed and driven by my own desire. I truely love what I do. I like making new goals for myself and love change and innovation.I grew up doing things most kids didn't do. Maybe someday we will talk about that. I was an extremely fortunate child. I'm smart. I believe I can do anything if I set my mind to it. I believe things are only difficult in your mind. Well... there are a few physical things that I am likely not capable of. And the cure for cancer, well, it might take me a couple of lifetimes to figure that out. But if I had enough time, I would!I have a 17 year old daughter that lives with me. She's very musically talented and independent.I love to debate.. I like to win too! :) I'm competitve in cards and board games.I am passionate.Ok the serious side:I think at my age this begins to get really difficult. I think when you know yourself this well, you know what you can put up with, and you have things that you won't put up with. It's the way is. I drink responsibily and so should you. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy a drink because I certainly do! I do not do drugs, other than the kind my doc tells me to take. I am doing ok financially and would hope you are as well. By this I mean you can pay your bills have a job and are not on the verge of bankruptcy. Generally I think we assume most people that seem to have your values will have their priorities in the same place as you, they don't always but I hope to find the person that does. Each other... when I find the right person they will value me... spending time with me, respecting who I am. They will make time for me as I will them. we likely won't be able to see each other all the time but a text, even a call, is important in my mind as they will be to you.I try to take care of myself, I work out daily. I attempt to eat healthy, but there are foods that are soooo tempting that I cannot resist at times!Dogs... they are in my life. They live with me, and they aren't going anywhere. They are loyal and love me unconditionally. They do not sleep with me! I respect honest people and especially those who stand up for human rights. (handicapped, women, children, ethnic, sexuality, etc)Hoping to find the man who I grow old with , whom I am totally comfortable being myself.I'm not perfect he's not perfect but we are good together. P.S. Yes I can travel... Was told I should add that.
