I've given in to peer pressure...again. It's been 3+ years since I've been on a dating web-site. Being a "hopeless romantic" I guess I was still holding out for serendipity. I'll listen to most types of music, but I'll admit I'm a country kind of girl. I prefer concerts in outdoor venues (no matter the weather). I enjoy cooking with or for someone, but I rarely cook for just myself. I enjoy being outdoors (in the mountains, at the lake or near the ocean) I love to explore new places, but prefer to have someone to do it with. I'm looking for that someone who enjoys doing things TOGETHER. It doesn't matter what we do, whether it's exercising, a house project, grocery shopping or NOTHING, let's do it together. I've learned you may not always want to do the same thing, but you might just enjoy going along for the ride. You can fill in the blank. First dates should be kept simple. It doesn't have to be 'dinner and a movie'. It could be just a walk in the park.

I am new at this,but here goes.I am 47 years old,i have recently decided to start dating again.I have not dated for around 3 years because I was caring for my mother because she had cancer.Mommy passed away December 26,***.After her passing I started caring for grand children and great nieces and a great nephew.That all ended in March ***,so I now have my own life back.I am ready to become a part of society again.Everything about dating seems foreign to me so the other person that may be interested in me I hope will be patient.I will want to take things slow.Enough for now I can answer questions at a later time.
