About Me

I've given in to peer pressure...again. It's been 3+ years since I've been on a dating web-site. Being a "hopeless romantic" I guess I was still holding out for serendipity. My main focus back then was my kids. Now I'm turning the focus to me. To be honest, being a single mom to three kids, working full time, taking care of a house really wasn't conducive to dating. I'm looking for someone who shares my same values, is generous with his time and gives unconditionally. That's a lot to ask for, I know, and might be the reason why I'm still looking. Friends would describe me as someone with a big heart. (some would say to a fault) I'll help a stranger without hesitating and I'll rescue a dog in a heartbeat. I love dogs, but if you give more attention to your dog than you do me, then "; I enjoyed playing tennis, but it's been some time since I've picked up a racket. I like to watch baseball and football games. (both live and on TV) I enjoy listening to music while doing the things I like to do. I'll listen to most types of music, but I'll admit I'm a country kind of girl. I prefer concerts in outdoor venues (no matter the weather). I enjoy cooking with or for someone, but I rarely cook for just myself. I enjoy being outdoors (in the mountains, at the lake or near the ocean) I love to explore new places, but prefer to have someone to do it with. I'm looking for that someone who enjoys doing things TOGETHER. It doesn't matter what we do, whether it's exercising, a house project, grocery shopping or NOTHING, let's do it together. I've learned you may not always want to do the same thing, but you might just enjoy going along for the ride. You can fill in the blank. First dates should be kept simple. It doesn't have to be 'dinner and a movie'. It could be just a walk in the park.

Woman. 47 years old. Zodiac sign: Aquarius.

Looking for: man. In age: 44-54

My loves are camping, hiking, the beach, Ga Football, country music, classic rock, grilling and chilling and great laughter that is good for the soul. If you are below the age of 41, smoke, don't attend church, and into the bar scene then just keep scrolling please. Not against a night out of fun but with me besties full of laughter not the whole pick up scene.Again let me stress if you are not above the age of 41, different race keep going not interested!!

Woman. 48 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.

Looking for: man. In age: 45-55

A little about me...I am easy to get along with and have been told that I am an easy person to talk to. I am fortunate to have chosen a career that I thoroughly enjoy. At times it's challenging, but I get a lot of satisfaction from it. I am a 'doing' type person....taking walks, riding my bike, going to museums, visiting people/places. Although I'm not a couch/TV type person, I do read when I get a chance. I do enjoy watching some sports...baseball, basketball, football (my favorite), and have even been to hockey games. What I am looking for....someone who is easy going, friendly, caring, and knows how to enjoy life. It's important that the man I find is a Christian and has a good relationship with his family. I would like to find someone who is interested in taking the time to develop a friendship first.

Looking for: man. In age: 44-54

You are a match for me if:• You like ridiculously strong coffee• You love ***’s rock - especially live!• You are adventurous – not going to spend much time on the couch!• Any town square that has restaurants, bars and live music all within walking distance sounds like a fun night to you• You are not into camping or sleeping on the ground. Roughing it, to me, is a 3 star hotel and a lukewarm shower!• You can dress up and go to the Lobster Bar or wear jeans and hit Taco Mac – and feel totally comfortable in both places!• You appreciate someone who works hard at the things that matter – raising kids to become balanced, productive people while doing what they love• You don’t look like you could be my father. While I am sure you are a very nice person, but just maybe not for me.• You might even ride a motorcycle and like to take leisurely mountain trips on perfect weather weekends• You like to travel and still have places you want to go• You don’t have any drama and are ready to really partner with someone. At this point, I suppose everyone our age has some baggage, but you learned from yours, and are better for it.• You want to take the time to get to know someone first and see where it takes you!• Oh –– long distance relationships are just too difficult. Things that bother me - the squeak from the shoes during a basketball game, and that guy that wants to "twirl" dance me while we are listening to a 80's rock cover band. Things I like - my yard mowed, my house cleaned, and getting everything done on my To Do list. These things make me happy because then I can go play and not feel guilty!Another note - if you don't have a picture on your profile, you will not hear from me. I don't like "mystery" contacts - what is the point really? I took the time to put pictures on my profile - because I know people want to see who they are talking to. Please at least send a pic with your message, if you are not comfortable putting one on your profile. Something easy and short (an hour?***to see if there is any chemistry. If there is, we can just look forward to spending more time together on date #2...
