Hello, Boys! I just have to put this out front: It seems challenging to even be polite & respond to anyone unless I'm really interested in DATING them b/c a little "Thank You" in response to a compliment means to some guys that I want to go out with them. I still look young (most say in my late 20's/early 30's) but am old enough to have learned some valuable lessons. I'm all the wiser for it! I'm recreating myself & my life right now... I'm willing to date but I'm really a one man woman & I'm looking for HIM! I'm spiritual, fun-loving, traveled, educated, witty w/ a good sense of humor. A guy that's at least relatively in shape, has a decent job, preferably has his own house & is financially stable & will spoil me, doesn't have kids (I'd consider grown children), who has above-average intelligence, preferably educated, aware of current events and can keep up with me in a conversation. Unfortunately, I'm not attracted to a man who looks like he could be my dad or grandpa! (Just being honest!) I don't mind a bit of gray if its distinguished looking but I would like someone who has taken care of himself. I'm not really into a big sports guy but I don't mind someone who has their own interests and pursuits, and encourages me to have mine. I want a man who's spiritual but not necessarily religious. I probably wouldn't get on with someone who's staunch Christian unless they're open-minded. Yes, I believe in God but I'm not into dogma! I also don't think I'd get along with someone who is far right/Republican/conservative. Just different ways of thinking. I'm very spiritual and into new age things, like tarot cards, yoga, and studying world religions. If that freaks you out, please move on. I don't ascribe to fear-based thinking. I try to stay positive and am forward thinking with traditional values (like common sense, decency and courtesy... not so common these days!) I have a very active social and family life and travel frequently. I'm big on communication and don't like games (yes, men play them, too!). We should be past all that! I'm very understanding and non-judgmental. I expect the same. Having preferences and boundaries are essential, though! For the record, I refuse to be talked to rudely or treated roughly. Zero tolerance on that. I would consider younger men if they showed considerable maturity and character and are fun to be around. I want someone that can make me laugh... a sense of humor is vital. I have a silly, comedic side and I'm in touch with my inner dork. No ego problems here, just healthy self-esteem. I'm looking for the same in my man. I can be a homebody and cuddle, I like being outside in nature, and I absolutely love to travel. I look forward to world travel in my near future! I'm bohemian and cosmopolitan, well-read and well-rounded. I want a man that I can admire and be proud to walk next to. I'm not looking for the typical guy. There's a lot of nice guys out there, and yes, I'm looking for a nice guy... but I would like more than that. Extraordinary, different, handsome, mature, secure, trustworthy, and open to new things. No one TOO straight laced or 'vanilla', mind you! Someone who's been IN the world but not allowed it to taint them. Maybe I'm searching for a needle in a haystack, but I'm not here to settle. I've already done that and it never works out! I'd rather be alone than settle for less than I want or deserve! I don't want to NEED someone or for someone to NEED me... I'd rather WANT to share my life with someone and vice versa. Please, no needy guys or emotional basket cases looking for some woman to "save" them! Only YOU can save YOU. I come from the heart and I'm not willing to have it broken again... so that means I have to get to know someone. I'm not one to be pushed or directed. That will turn me right off. I'm willing to meet someone who I think has potential... then if we click, you can have my number and we can move forward. I guard myself and I won't apologize for it, especially in today's crazy world! I want someone to care about me.... narcissists need not apply! Some folks have called me a free spirit & its true...but I can be shy and am definitely monogamous... (faithful & loyal!). In the meantime?
