I have a big sense of humor, and I hang out with people who like to laugh. I am not shy by any means, but I don't need to be the center of attention. Group activities are cool (I have the best friends!), but I also cherish the quiet evenings just curled up on the couch, talking. Intelligence is very attractive to me (I didn't say education -- my father is one of the most intelligent men I know and he never went to college). I just really enjoy good conversation, and being able to discuss things on an adult level is a MUST. Humor and intelligence are the most attractive traits in a man to me. I can fit in with anybody, anywhere.-- and be at home either place. I like to go out when I have a free evening. I'm not hard to please because I like to do so many things. Music is always good. I love to dance, and enjoy all kinds of music styles -- it just depends on what type of mood I'm in. Wait... I just mean that some days are fast-driving, rock and roll days; and some are laid-back, seventies and eighties tunes days. If you can't relate, you must not have a pulse and probably have a monotone voice, in which case you would bore me anyway. ;)I love the outdoors... The mountains are my favorite place to go to just relax and get away from stress. I also love to go the lake, go camping, and fishing. If it's hot outside, take me to the water. I'm a true beach bum wanna be, but the lake, river, or even a pool will do. I think I was a mermaid in a former life.I can shoot pool, although I'm much more enthusiastic than I am skilled. Darts are a lot of fun, but until I knock the rust off my throw, it would probably be a good idea to stick to the plastic tips! Sports are cool... I like to watch as well as play. Again, I'm not Olympic material in any sport, but I have a great time playing. Volleyball is my favorite, but I also like softball and golf. I have three daughters. Yep. Three. Their dad is very much in the picture, and we take turns wrangling the little heifers. I'm tired of sitting there alone. I've been divorced for a few years, and was separated for some time before that. I'm ready to find somebody to watch these games with me, and this seems to be the easiest way to meet new people. I've been on meetville before. I met some great folks, and I also met a few whackos that made me shake my head. But it's free entertainment, right??? ;) Something fun, relaxed, and casual.     I am a very down to earth and honest person. I am also a very hard worker, a great Mom, and a very good friend. I don't have a million friends, but I love and cherish dearly the ones that I do have. I am who I am and I do not put on pretenses. I like a man who is confident without being arrogant. I was a stay at home Mom for 16 years and it was the most wonderful job in the world. I love kids. Mine are 23, 21, 18 and 13... 3 boys and a little girl. Two are in college and two are at home. I graduated from GA Tech in ***, but never really used my degree. I got married right out of college and started having kids shortly after.My daily life pretty much consists of working, working out, and spending time with my kids. I LOVE to work out and hope to meet somebody who would also be interested in that, although that is not mandatory. I do some sort of cardio 6 or 7 days a week and I do weights 4 to 5 times a week. I am 48 years old and probably in the best physical shape of my life, and it is important to me to maintain that.I really am hoping to meet my best friend!!! I want to be with somebody who enjoys my company as much as I enjoy their company. I want to be excited about getting together and spending time together, whether it is to go for a day hike, go for a run, ride the golf cart, go to the farmers market, take a nap, out to dinner for Thai food, or just stay in and cook and watch a good movie. I am very low maintenance. I don't require much. I am not crazy about shopping, although I do have a favorite consignment store that I like to go to. I love current country music; not so crazy about the old stuff. I also like classic rock.I was raised Jewish but I have been a Christian for a very long time. I have raised my children as Christians. God is very important in my life. I have struggled with my faith at times, but I do believe that He is the reason we are here. I have recently been attending church regularly, which feels really good. It would be nice to share that experience with a significant other. I do believe in true love, though, and I am not going to settle for anything less just to have a boyfriend. I would rather be alone than to do that. I was married 19 years and have been divorced for 7 years. I am a little quiet and shy at first but I warm up pretty quickly. I've been told that I am very easy to get along with. I'm not crazy about this whole dating thing. It feels like a whole lot of work. I know it will be worth it though, when I meet the right guy. I've met a lot of really nice ones, just not Mr. Right.
