I have a big sense of humor, and I hang out with people who like to laugh. I am not shy by any means, but I don't need to be the center of attention. Group activities are cool (I have the best friends!), but I also cherish the quiet evenings just curled up on the couch, talking. Intelligence is very attractive to me (I didn't say education -- my father is one of the most intelligent men I know and he never went to college). I just really enjoy good conversation, and being able to discuss things on an adult level is a MUST. Humor and intelligence are the most attractive traits in a man to me. I can fit in with anybody, anywhere.-- and be at home either place. I like to go out when I have a free evening. I'm not hard to please because I like to do so many things. Music is always good. I love to dance, and enjoy all kinds of music styles -- it just depends on what type of mood I'm in. Wait... I just mean that some days are fast-driving, rock and roll days; and some are laid-back, seventies and eighties tunes days. If you can't relate, you must not have a pulse and probably have a monotone voice, in which case you would bore me anyway. ;)I love the outdoors... The mountains are my favorite place to go to just relax and get away from stress. I also love to go the lake, go camping, and fishing. If it's hot outside, take me to the water. I'm a true beach bum wanna be, but the lake, river, or even a pool will do. I think I was a mermaid in a former life.I can shoot pool, although I'm much more enthusiastic than I am skilled. Darts are a lot of fun, but until I knock the rust off my throw, it would probably be a good idea to stick to the plastic tips! Sports are cool... I like to watch as well as play. Again, I'm not Olympic material in any sport, but I have a great time playing. Volleyball is my favorite, but I also like softball and golf. I have three daughters. Yep. Three. Their dad is very much in the picture, and we take turns wrangling the little heifers. I'm tired of sitting there alone. I've been divorced for a few years, and was separated for some time before that. I'm ready to find somebody to watch these games with me, and this seems to be the easiest way to meet new people. I've been on meetville before. I met some great folks, and I also met a few whackos that made me shake my head. But it's free entertainment, right??? ;) Something fun, relaxed, and casual. Meet for a drink or coffee, see where things go from there.

He will be physically and verbally affectionate, as I am, and have a kind and generous personality. After e-mailing or messaging for a few days, we've spoken on the phone. We laughed together a lot and want to meet in person, so we schedule dinner or drinks someplace pretty casual, or someplace with fun stuff to do. Like, a walk on the canal, or at the IMA, or a bookstore. When we've both arrived, we hug briefly, then sit, our eyes meeting. The server comes by WAY too early and asks if we need more time. Um, YES. We make the server go away one more time before choosing from the menu. As we eat, we find more things we have in common. Maybe your dad was a gearhead like mine (did he run through the house snatching blankets off the beds to protect his cars when it hailed?). Or maybe your first girlfriend had Farrah hair like I did in 7th grade). After dinner (I'll expect to pay for mine, but if you insist I'll probably give in)we'll walk together or check out an exhibit or head for the bookstore and share some of our favorite sections/authors together. When it's time to go home,you walk me to my car. We can both sense the warmth and energy of our connection beginning. As you say goodnight you lean down and kiss me to check out our physical connection. We both go home grinning and thinking about our next date.That's just one way things could go...what are YOUR first date ideas?
