About Me

Looking for someone to laugh with! I love animals and spend a lot of time with my dogs.) so I like alot of outdoor activities. I have worked in the school system for almost twenty years and enjoy helping kids to better themselves. I dont have alot of baggage so leave your suitcase in the closet! Not going to list all the things I dont want, as that would be too easy...but what I do want is someone who is honest, fun, considerate and knows how to respect a woman. I strongly believe there needs to be a connection on both parts and if so, then take it from there. Not interested in wasting more time. I think I am the perfect combination of woman and child, angel and devil, funny and sincere, tomboy and lady.**Please, if your main objective is to hook up for a "roll in the hay", don't waste both of our time. That's not who I am and that's not how I roll. Not to be cynical, but I am over dealing with those kind of people. Have a few conversations over the phone and then maybe meet somewhere for a drink or coffee.

Woman. 48 years old. Zodiac sign: Gemini.

Looking for: man. In age: 45-55

Having to set up a new profile after one in which I was ***years old. I had set up the profile as no one is searchable after the age of 99 and I was curious and wanted to kinda lurk...test the waters. meetville rules does not allow one to communicate with anyone 14 years younger or older which meant I could only correspond with someone older than 87...and won't delete my account so it is now "hidden"...and I now have an ALIAS. I am discovering men mostly don't read profiles anyway. Sorta like reading comic books, they just prefer to look at pictures. It is complicated....I seek chemistry - and you may ask what is that? Chemistry is a connection that to many, may seem magical and unrealistic. but it is simply the accumulation of what we are and who we have become, bringing two people together in the moment, and is much too complicated to ever analyze so we call it "love" I seek chemistry with someone who possesses charm, a flair for living, who can live life honestly, with personal integrity and financial stability. I am attracted to intelligence coupled with common sense. I stay fit and eat healthy and desire that quality in a partner. I desire somebody who is wise, someone with as much or more energy than me and who has at least as much zest for life as me and a kind heart as that is the key to the equation. And there must be Chemistry....I am a positive person of moral fiber while still enjoying things spontaneously. I often think and sometimes act outside the box. Excess within control. Descriptive for me would be loyal, fun-loving, energetic compassionate, moral, frugal, athletic, adaptable, sensitive, intuitive, living reclusive in a debt free life style in the country, charming with a dry quick wit and sense of humor and very sensual with the right mate.I didn't "blow up the t.v." but I avoid most of the rot and prefer to rent movies from the library, preferring independent films and documentaries over mainstream movies. I avoid movies containing gratuitous sex and violence; finding both to be raw and demeaning and insults my intelligence and imagination. So no couch potatoes please...I am vegetarian...and finding this is an element in my life that should be seriously considered in seeking a future partner. I love animals. I don't eat them. I own and live on an organic farm...I grow (not kill) what I eat. Life is simple if you have control of your simple needs. Life is good....not easy...but good! Vegetarianism is not just an ethical decision but part of the solution to the global, economical, ecological problems on Earth plus a health based choice. I am often told that I am a great chef. I love to cook with lots of spices. My cuisine is never dull!I love being in and around the water, having taught swimming (WSI) for 14 years, I crew on a racing sailboat and am resurrecting an antique racing sailboat for the ***racing season. I love exploration and hiking, potlucks and dancing to live music. Flying and travel is important. I am willing to travel to see a good band play or to hike a special place.People often portray themselves as perfect and no one is perfect, we are all imperfect. I am imperfectly perfect. What is more important is to not carry around a lot of baggage and to be responsible for your actions and I am able to do both of these things successfully. I have been blessed in life and am single my choice as I do know what I want and willing to wait it out, Life is what we make it. I strive to make each day special, I work hard and play harder. We live in a world that functions in an unrealistic way and at an alarming pace. I maintain a steady pace and search for what my soul tells me is real. No time for games. I am focused on developing a good relationship with a like- I am impatiently patient. If you can't post a photo, we probably have little in common, not being judgmental nor unrealistic in my expectations physically, but in order to begin communicating with someone, at least for me, a photograph to put a face on a person is pertinent."Everybody is after being extraordinary. That is the search of the ego: to be someone who is special, to be someone who is unique, incomparable. It is such an ordinary desire. If you become ordinary, the very search to be ordinary is extraordinary, because rarely does somebody want to be just nobody, rarely does somebody want to be just a hollow, empty space. This is really extraordinary in a way, because nobody wants it. And when you become ordinary you become extraordinary, and, of course, suddenly you discover that without searching you have become unique."- Osho (Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh) the hardest part....wish the first date was optional! And the last "date" :-)

Woman. 48 years old. Zodiac sign: Cancer.

Looking for: man. In age: 45-55

I'm a professional, hardworking, independent individual who owns a house and vehicle. I appreciate all the things life has to offer and all it's given me so far. I do my best not to take things for granted. Life is short so I try to make the best of not only the good but the bad so I have no room for drama in my life. . Family is important so when I'm needed I'm there to help. I have a 26 year old son who I am very proud of and also proud of the way I raised him.I love to meet new people every chance I get so I can make a new friend since most are a dime a dozen. I like being outdoors and keeping busy. I like to bike, take walks alone, and with my dog. My job keeps me pretty busy during the week so I'm mostly a home body unless something comes up that interests me. I am set in my career and happy with my job. I don't screw with people and play mind games, I'm always uprfront and honest. I love motorcyles, Harley is my only choice and I hope to own one some day...soon...I love to ride. I love concerts, and festivals. I haven't traveled in a long while so I would like to see more of the world some day, would love to see Vegas and all the shows. I like all music except Country, it always seems to tell the same old story. I lean more towards Heavy Metal, Metallica is a favorite. I grew up in the 80's and I think that was a fantastic era. I experienced the best of the bands and the greatest music.I'm very conscious of my health and looks so I take care of myself and wouldn't settle for anyone who didn't do the same. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty, I'm my own personal landscaper, lawn care professional and handyman, I put my best effort in to fixing things myself before I have to call in the cavalry, my son or a true professional.I drive a truck and I can have a truck driver's mouth at times but I am always respectful in the company of others. Since my divorce I have been on this site off and on but have decided to really committ to it in hopes of finding the man of my dreams and we can both travel that road to happiness leaving loneliness far behind. I don't judge a book by it's cover because the reality could be that I've just possibly missed out on what could be the best thing in my life. Life is all about taking chances, it's an everyday occurance,so please take a chance and try your luck if you wish and let's see where it goes. I think a first date is more like a "one on one" evaluation, so I really couldn't describe what the ideal setting might be. I would just like to get to know one another and share our likes and dislikes, etc....and then we could decide if a second date would be suitable for both of us. However if I had to decide I would choose a semi quiet Sports Bar for a few drinks to loosen up and have a few laughs.

Woman. 48 years old. Zodiac sign: Sagittarius.

Looking for: man. In age: 45-55

I love anything outdoors; fishing, camping, visiting anything historical, old castles, the beach. I love beautiful sunsets, and wildlife, enjoy walks on the beach or in a park, going to amusement and water parks and festivals of all kinds. I'm not big into sports (I don't have any favorite sports teams), but that doesn't mean I wouldn't enjoy going to a ball game or hockey game. I once attended the Indy 500, and had a blast! I enjoy good food and good company, and like making new friends. I love music (most kinds anyway). My favorite band is Def Leppard; I've been to see them the last 4 times they were here. The first time, I took my daughter with me, and the last 3 times I went alone, and in doing so, made a new friend. I'm not a big fan of Country, Rap, or Hip Hop. I love to sing, but only in the car to the radio, or in my church choir; funny thing is, I've never tried karaoke. I love to read romantic fiction (a girl can dream, can't she?), it's my escape.I love animals of all kinds, and own 3 cats and a dog. I have 2 kids, both over 18. I'm a very trusting, loyal, and honest woman. I want to meet someone who is loyal, honest, caring, and knows how to treat a woman. Meet for coffee or drinks, maybe dinner, talk and get to know each other, then maybe take a walk on the beach.
