Not sure why Im signing up for this but was told it was a great site so thought what the heck. Ive been single for several years. Ive enjoyed being single but would like to find someone to share my life with. My children are almost grown and reality is setting in that Im getting older and need to find someone to enjoy. I work two jobs so I keep pretty busy. I have become very indepedent but one has to when you need to. I love music of all types. I love the outdoors and boating with friends. Ive been told I have a great smile and eyes. I love to laugh and want someone that can make me laugh. Drama is not welcome. What would I do on a first date. Wow, this is a hard one. Over the years I have expected a little more respect for myself than what I use to. I think a first date could be taken place anywhere where a conversation could be done. Dinner and drinks with conversation tells one a lot. Would I give more than a kiss on the first date, well I must say, that would depend on the chemistry and attraction we had together.

Abridged version:.....Have hands, will hold; .... Have arms, will cuddle; .... Have ears, will listen; .... Have brain, will communicate; .... Have life, will share; .... Have heart, will give.Longer version:Finally an empty nester, and it's now time for me. I am an articulate, degreed, professional employed in the legal field for over 25 years. I am witty and have a sharp sense of humor (sarcastic, at times). I am active and healthy and looking for the same in a partner. I have been told that I am attractive and that I’m fun to be with, and I guess I have no evidence to contradict that! Although I’m pushing 49, I don’t feel it (you can decide if I act it). I have been accused of being “too happy,” but I believe being upbeat and positive is very healthy – life is too short to not enjoy it.I really believe I am “livin' the dream.” I have a fabulous job that I love, my kids are adults and on their own, I am financially secure, I have my health, and I have a multitude of great friends. However, I also have a lot of spare time in which to do fun things, but not that special someone to do them with.I’m hopeful to find someone to share those experiences in life which are best when shared. My hope is that you are beautiful on the inside (the outside isn’t nearly as important, but bonus points for balding, bearded, and husky!) and that you are willing to give 100% in a relationship (as I am). Happiness is something we do deserve. A lot of good loving is being wasted here. “Take a Chance on Me” (channeling ABBA) ? Anything conducive to good conversation. I'm not a coffee drinker, but will gladly meet you for a Diet Coke (or better yet a beer over pizza). A walk in the mall (not on the beach ... sand gets in my flip flops)? A picnic in the park (Taco Bell take-out qualifies as long as it's outside on a picnic table)? A nice soak in the hot tub now that summer is waning (swimsuits optional)? The most recent comedy DVD with microwave popcorn (my couch or yours)? Check out the new Downtown Market .. lots to see there! What's YOUR idea?
