I'm a fun, fit, tall professional - so I'm told. Bit of a contradiction in that I am very social with a busy schedule yet enjoy my quiet time and am comfortable with that. I have a great quality of life due to the choices I have made - some easy, some difficult. I've worked hard my whole life and it is a value that is non negotiable in a partner. I'm pretty independent and self-sufficient with great, cool friends. I have good *** intuitive) that I trust and am a pretty good judge of people. I'm open-minded, told I have a quick wit and good sense of humor and am looking for the same. Also looking for a stable man who is kind and has interests of his own yet also some that we share. I am grateful always for the quality of life I enjoy including a job I don't mind getting out of bed to go to, good friends - including my sister - and a beautiful area in which to live with a wonderful sense of community. I can be on the water or in the woods in five minutes. I'm energetic and try to live a healthy lifestyle but am not obsessed and love a good burger and a beer now and again. Life is short. A hole in the wall trumps a 5 star restaurant any day.I'm a curious blend of city/country; sophistication/simple; dresses/muddy jeans - and can morph into either at anytime. Gardening is a passion and you might find me getting filthy in my garden shoveling compost one day or mingling at a fundraiser the next. I like running the occasional 5K now and again for the fun of it, playing 9 holes for the frustration of it and love all things outdoors! I find peace in nature and working in my garden brings me incredible joy (and a backache lately!). Being on the water or on top of a mountain makes me happy. I believe in "live and let live" and people should be able to make their own choices and live their lives however they choose, makes life interesting. I'm more NPR than Rush; I enjoy thought-provoking documentaries as well as independent music and movies over mainstream. Anything off the beaten path actually...I'm grateful that I notice the little things like a butterfly flittering by. So if you're in my car, you're basically trapped.Experience has taught me that I'm best suited for someone who is down-to-earth, unpretentious, open-minded, laid back yet active, reasonably ambitious and one who understands that being kind and compassionate and gentle is actually indicative of great strength in a man, not weakness.Need a pic of you - only fair. :) Good luck in your search!     Never done this before so please bare with me...Hello, I would like to start by saying that I want a serious relationship. Not saying I want to jump into "serious " but if it happens it happens... I do not want to play house....
