I'm a fun, fit, tall professional - so I'm told. Bit of a contradiction in that I am very social with a busy schedule yet enjoy my quiet time and am comfortable with that. I believe in "live and let live" and people should be able to make their own choices and live their lives however they choose, makes life interesting. I'm more NPR than Rush; I enjoy thought-provoking documentaries as well as independent music and movies over mainstream. Anything off the beaten path actually...I'm grateful that I notice the little things like a butterfly flittering by. So if you're in my car, you're basically trapped.Experience has taught me that I'm best suited for someone who is down-to-earth, unpretentious, open-minded, laid back yet active, reasonably ambitious and one who understands that being kind and compassionate and gentle is actually indicative of great strength in a man, not weakness.Need a pic of you - only fair. :) Good luck in your search! I'm the typical girl next door. Laid back and down to earth. I'm not one of those girls who is in the salon every week getting my hair and nails done. Thanks for stopping by...I am 48 years old and looking for a best friend and a lover; these 2 things seem to me to make up a successful relationship. I am the youngest of 7 in a large Italian family. We are a big crew when we all get together. We don't see each other as often as we'd like, but I consider us to all be close. I am an honest, loyal and supportive person. I am very compassionate and very passionate as well. I am very blessed to have the family,friends,children and health that I have and I would want to be with someone else that appreciates their life the same way.I have four children the youngest one is 18. My oldest two are out of the house and live nearby. I work in the human service field and do some consulting providing social skills and sexuality education for people with disabilities.I love to do a variety of outdoor things of which hitting the beach and any type of water sport would be high on the list. I still want to learn to sail and surf (on my bucket list) I am hoping to live by the water within the next five years.I'm have a positive, upbeat, and outgoing personality and would like someone similar. I like all types of music and people. Love outdoor concerts! I'm not a big gym person, but I do like to exercise outdoors. I love biking, walking, swimming, football (Patriots Fan)as well as reading, movies, restaurants (Italians always like to eat!) Most of all I enjoy entertaining. I love to have people over and cook for them. I am a good cook and really enjoy any form of hospitality. You will never starve with me.
