Spent a year drinking myself goofy, (thank God I never tried drugs ha!), spent 76 days in jail ( yes...real jail!) pondering life , meditating, praying, talking to God, wondering wether to take anti-depressants or not (decided 'no'), running a business on one brain cell and a single fragile emotional thread. Oh ... and watching a lot of documentaries, dark drama and historical fiction on NetFlix cuddled up with my dog. How the hell does one 'start over' at our age?I worked in the medical field for 12 years, radiation physics and dosimetry. In my second life, I owned and operated a CrossFit gym from ***until last month. Getting ready for my third life... currently preparing for law school....studying for the LSAT. Hope to obtain a dual degree in law and social work. I'm not going to lie...physical attraction is very important to me. I want to feel crazy about the person I am with. I'm not looking for a serious relationship right now. I'm not marriage minded...looking for a friend that can also stimulate me intellectually, who doesn't mind a girl a tad on the eccentric side. I'm an optimist and a huge fan of humor. If you can't laugh at yourself, we probably won't get along.It is my perspective that "things" and "events" in life are neither 'good' nor 'bad'...they just 'are' and that is the fiber that makes up the fabric we call 'life'. I have been divorced for a long time and have spent a lot of time working on myself...it is a never ending process as time changes us all...learned a lot a things the hard way. Probably the most important is that life is to precious to waste. I can't sing but I like watching somebody else sing at karoke...I can be a great audience....verysupportive and cheer you on.I want someone who actually cares about me as person and as a human being...I am not looking for most men...I am looking for one special man...No I don't camp, hunt or fish...I am just not that kind of girl...but it's ok if you do as long as it's not life consuming...but I do like baseball games sometimes. I can even appreciate a good soccer game or football game. Basically I am looking for someone that I can enjoy sharing my life with....someone I can trust with my heart as I try to be tough as nails, but truth is just as fragile as yours. The song to describe what I want in a man or with a man is "I Wanna Be" by the proclaimers...check it on you tube...it's a corny little song ...but it how you should love somebody....I know it is asking a lot, but I have lot a love left in me for the one right man.... Maybe lunch or coffee, something or somewhere we can talk and get to know each other..
