If i were a car, I would be a ***Corvette in "good condition." not excellent or fine, but humming along okay. I have lived a full life and have battle scars to prove it. Yes, I really am the hopeless romantic. I still believe in love and commitment. I love candles and flowers and cooking nice dinners for my significant other. Tired of working and sleeping. I would like to get a life in between. I have a 9 to 5, so to speak, office job and am co-owner of a flea market based business, specializing in art, depression, and collectible high end glass. I am celebrating having the first Saturday off in months by sitting at home semi watching a sorry "chick flick" on, of all things, the Lifetime channel cuddled on the sofa with a pot bellied pug. How pathetic is that? Just sayin'.Born and raised in IL. I love the ocean, it brings a certain peace and serenity. Not to mention landing a 20lb Red *** it's perks. I also enjoy live music and playing pool. Not much of a drinker or into the bar thing but as luck would have it, music and pool typically go hand in hand with bars. I rarely use the word hate but I hate karaoke. There are 2 types of people who participate in karaoke, those who can and those who can't. Not trying to hear those who can't, which is the majority of those who sing, and I am totally envious of those who can. I can't sing a single note no matter how hard I try. It's my belief that trucks should have 4 doors, cars should have 2 and minivans shouldn't exist. For me, a car must be equipped with at least 8 cylinders and a clutch. Speed freak to the core, I don't want to watch, I want to drive.I guess you can say that I am not your typical female. I do not like shopping, I go in get what I need and get out. I don't like spending money. Don't mind making it, I just like keeping it. Not a girly girl. I don't mind getting my hands dirty and will not cry if I break a nail. I will bait my own hook and be more than happy to let you take a fish off of it, as it just might be the only one you have a chance to touch all day. My friends call me if they need an alternator changed or their dryer fixed. Actually, that was the same friend. Anyway...I am honest, reliable and faithful. It's my philosophy that anything worth doing, is worth doing well. If you ask for my opinion make sure you really want it for it will not be sugar coated. Make no mistake I am not mean or vicious, just brutally honest. Morality, integrity and common sense are ones most valuable possessions.As i'm sure you have already guessed I do have a sense of humor, am opinionated and have a type A personality. Those are not bad things. I will stand up for those who cannot stand for themselves, speak for those who are not being heard, and I will advocate for what I believe to be good and right. I could be happy with a picnic on the tailgate of my truck, overlooking a lake, talking about life, love and the abyss into which all left socks disappear.
