About Me

Choosing a category is tough.....I mean most of us are here for the same reason. It's an opportunity to meet someone you may not have otherwise. Nothing can be determined until you meet in person and I believe, things happen naturally from there......a coffee, a drink, a few dates or maybe we really enjoy each others company and it grows into a "relationship"????????? Possibilities are endless if you aren't afraid to take a chance. I'm very content, like my job, love my family, friends and time off! Happiness is not something I am looking for....as I already am.....if I stumble upon a man that can enhance that it would be an amazing bonus! I work hard and value my job. I love the simple things, sipping on a coffee chatting with a friend...........hearing my boys laugh and seeing their smiles.......watching a good movie or being curled up with a great book.....simple dinners, great wine and amazing company! I really am looking for that tall, dark, handsome, confident, independent and charming man to enhance my already wonderful life!!!!!! I'm often told I look much younger than my age....you can be the judge. With that being said I'm always attracted to younger men...just the way it is. I want to feel that tug and explosion of wonderful in the pit of my stomach, chemistry that cannot be explained. I believe eyes are the window to the soul and without meeting and being able to read all that you cannot from this mode of communication......who really knows?????....I'm an optimist and I believe people come into our lives for a reason, a season or a lifetime.....I'm not afraid of rejection...it's part of life...obviously we aren't all compatable or we wouldn't need this site. The excitement lies in finding out......I have a great sense of humour (witty and sarcastic), try not to take life too seriously. I've been on my own for a long time.....and really like the person I've become. I've raised two boys and have an amazing relationship with both! Family time is something I truly cherish.I think the man that would fit into my life would possess some of these qualities: -a great smile (genuine)-independent-honest and true to himself-accepting we are indiviuals that want to share in each others life (not be each others life)-healthy to a moderate degree-not afraid to dream -positive -able to create a balance between work and play-young at heart-.......let's begin! I think we should fly to some exotic island, have a light lunch, red wine, a walk along the beach while talking and laughing..........Yes, my mom read me tooooo many fairy tales.

    Hi, well nice to see you so to speak :) I enjoy music a LOT as I'm a drummer and sing and love to dance..I lived abroad for 15 years in Europe so enjoy traveling and have a broad range of interests (hence I can have fun almost all the time :) ..... In addition to good conversation I enjoy kayking on the lakes/rivers..camping...reading...playing pool....dinner out/food..... wine tasting .astronomy/physics.....love almost all music except, I'm afraid not country...would be wonderful to meet someone with a great sense of humour...love to laugh and socialize (I also love flowers ;). I also enjoy my son A LOT ! and kids in general. We have a lot of fun doing things together and laugh a lot. He's very smart child (I know, mothers always think that...hopefully that is) and we have a great relationship. Who I spend my time with would ultimately have to enjoy children. *(Warning: Needless to say if there are any predators out there who are reading this...you'd better click out of this page, as your number would be up with me...BIG TIME) I only have about ***hours a day to myself in the evenings during the week (and can take time off wk during the day depending on what's going on). Roughly every other weekend I'm off as far as being a caretaker as my son's dad takes him then. I would like to enjoy those hours with good company and have it evolve into something lasting so in the end sharing my life with someone of a like mind. I'm trying to live my life based on values, not circumstance...the values of appreciation, responsibility (taking care of business both financialy and personaly), honesty,kindness, charity, good clean fun (kids are great for that) and not so clean fun (read yes I love sex and physical affection but nothing out of the ordinary :) I'm looking for someone who has those same values and lives by them to a greater or lesser extend (not looking for a priest lol but someone who lives a concsious life :) Someone who loves life and acts like it :) who i could build a life with.. a life both of us could be proud of. The time I give someone will be quality time as my focus and attention will be all theirs...one on one. I'm thoughtful (at least sometimes ;), intelligent (at least sometimes ;) and fun (definitely! :) If you have managed to read all this then thank you!     Biking, hiking, being outside exploring is what's relaxing. Scenery, national parks and unusual places appeal the most. I guess I have a sometimes dark, often weird sense of humor and prefer unpredictable or open endings to films. My musical taste is probably alternative and/or pop. I'll listen to whatever, though.
