I'm a very sincere, fun, loving, kind, and caring person who is always laughing and smiling and I try to see the good in everyone. I'm very outgoing and spontaneous when I want to be but am a very down-to-earth kinda woman. Not into materialistic things. I love my family and we try to get together as much as we can, especially in the summer months. I consider myself a pretty funny person and I'm full of spunk. Someone in my family recently used the word "spitfire" to describe me. I had to agree with that! And I love to joke around all the time. I enjoy working out at the gym a few times a week. My favorite season is Fall....love the colors and the fresh, crisp air. Love walks at the park. Like wine tasting. I used to enjoy camping and would go at that time of year or in the spring...have even gone in the winter! I'd much rather camp in a hotel nowadays. My favorite color is purple! Love movies....comedy especially. Have to admit I'm a sucker for romance movies too! Love to dance, even if it's by myself (I could be in another world like I'm the only one there)! Which leads me to say I absolutely love ALL kinds of music, although not much of a country music fan. Love to go to outdoor concerts in the summer. Love to shoot a good game of pool. White sand and blue water......the best! I am looking to find someone who will enjoy my company for the person I am, not to change who I am.....to get me, understand me. We have to enjoy each day one day at a time. I want someone who is HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY. I do not like men that lie. Communication is where its at! I want to become friends first. Getting to know someone is so important. I want to be treated with the respect I deserve. I'm hoping there are some gentleman out there still. I would love to find that person who is romantic. I'm crazy about candles! Nothing wrong with being a dreamer is there? Would love someone that can make me laugh and someone that isn't afraid to cry. I believe a great connection not only begins with an attraction to one another but also a truly great passionate kiss. If we connect and were to have a relationship, it takes TWO. So I would hope we would both make that effort to take the time to see one another when we can. This time in our lives, we are both busy. And I want someone in my life that I can see more than just once a week. So, if you're seriously interested in getting to know me....maybe over a glass of wine or a cold beer.....could even be with dinner, please send me an e-mail because I would certainly love to hear from you. It's a MUST to have a picture of yourself or please do not bother to send an e-mail. Afterall, you wouldn't want to meet me without knowing what I looked like would you? Thank you for reading my profile. Meet 'n greet first for a drink to see how we connect and communicate. If there is a spark, we can go on a first date to dinner somewhere where we can continue conversation and get to know one another. I'm always up for a drink somewhere where we can shoot a game of pool as well. In the summer months it would be nice to go to the park for a walk and put a blanket under a tree and share a glass of wine with each other too.

I\'m really down for whatever when it comes to free time, and even if I don\'t think I’ll enjoy something I would undoubtedly bend the rules for someone special. Search for true lover, not egoistic bitch.

Hola! Here's me in a nutshell; Funny, bright (usually!), from a big family, loves kids, Irish, never married (just haven't met the right guy yet, I guess?), work-aholic, but trying to improve. Looking to meet down-to-earth good guy who lives in the Twin Cities area (that's Twin Cities, guys). Profiles with pictures ONLY...fair is fair, right?? No picture, no fair &...sorry :(The internet dating thing is like shooting fish in a barrel...anyone who tells you differently is wrong....wouldn't you agree? It's like trying to find that job that "fits" or the right car, house, etc. only much more complex. Let's face it, we all have some "baggage" in our lives no matter where we come from, what relationships we've had, etc., etc., etc.. I think the challenge is to not let that baggage get in the way of meeting new people & maybe making new friends or more along the way. I'm a work-in-progress, myself. I am a lapsed Catholic, but am Christian and fairly spiritual. Finding the same thing in another is important to me - not necessarily the Catholic part, but the rest of it. I'm reasonably smart (I hope, anyway), though constantly have to work at keeping up with local & national politics, which I don't care much about. I am a Liberal - this will probably not change, so I want to put that out there from the get-go...LOL!I'm currently working on smart-ass, yet clever, answers to the question I get ALL the time...."WHY are you still single????" Or better yet, "Why haven't you ever married??". I'm hoping to make a top-ten list, so any good ones you have are most welcome!! Let me know if you'd like to chat further! Betty's Mom First meeting date or first DATE date? First meeting is the requisite coffee/drink meeting and then we see if we want to meet again, if that's cool with you?
