I am not an avid church goer like I should be but I know who my good Lord is and I know that Obama is NOT my leader.. So if you voted for Obama, please keep on looking, Im not good on Politics but I know why the United States is broke. (Im not judging, just stating a fact!)I would liked to be spoiled and treated like a lady but at the same time taken out to play hard like a country girl..I would like someone who is semi romantic and can buy a rose or two.. **hint** I don't care who she is, all women loves to get flowers at work..I would like a man that I can spoil in return but then does not take it for granted..I have a great job and I am not looking for someone to support me, I have my own money...I am a big girl and do not need someone to lead me but I will let you hold my hand if you would like...Someone that I can talk to when my heart gets heavy and whether you listen or not, just be a sounding board helps a lot as well..I am not looking for a serious relationship tomorrow, but I would like to build on something because I do not like dating around..I do not want someone that looks like he has never been fed, but someone who is healthy ....I need someone who loves nature and likes to be out in it, but can also go out and put a critter or two down to put on the stove for supper..I am sick of the drama, so I would like for it to stay out of my circle......I have seen and heard enough for a life time!I just want to be happy.....and to have someone in my life to be happy with me! It is your choice, as long as it is not the opera, I am not picky however, it will need to be in a public place. A girl cant be to cautious these days...

I like to stay in shape and would love to meet someone who would enjoy that with me. And even if not with me, you taking care of yourself is gonna be pretty important. That does not mean I want to see a picture of you with your shirt off. As a matter of fact...I'd really rather not and every girl I know would say the same thing so please take that down before you write to me. :)' My dogs are my pride and joy. Recently retired from a non-profit org. I started 5 years ago so am busy trying to not be busy and finding some balance again. Yes, I do still have a real job; 2 actually. When not working I enjoy time at the local coffee shops reading a good book, the paper on Sunday mornings, or just spending time with neighbors that I might happen upon. Being productive at home is relaxing for me on a Saturday and then out with friends at night. I do love to travel and have done a lot of it, around the world, but don't get to as much as I'd like these days. Road trips are a favorite as well. My community is important to me and I try to stay involved in local issues. Enjoy word games, NPR, photography exhibits, writing, and cherish time with friends and time alone equally. Describing my personality in one word is impossible and Rockstar isn't it but I love that idea that it would be. Been called a bunch of those words they list for us to choose from; artsy, athletic, animal lover, beach bum, adventurer, starving artist, hippie, coffee snob, book worm, tree hugger. That last one makes me laugh. Things no one has ever called me and never will are chef, foodie, straight edge, fashionista and techie. Though I wish I was a techie. If you haven't read a book in a few years...have a need to be needed...don't understand why anyone would travel outside of the US...or if you consider killing animals a hobby, a right or a favor...please pass me by. Thanks. Oh, and if you aren't single. Depends on my mood at the time, and the guy of course. Low key real life events are good. I like to see how someone gets along in the real world as opposed to sitting across from me and saying what they think I want to hear while we both imbibe an array of adult beverages. Ouch! Did I really just write that out loud? Maybe an art show or small venue live music event so we'd have something in common to talk about in the moment and a reason to be out other than just each other. Then, even if we don't enjoy each other the time spent isn't a total loss.

Well, here goes everything. I am a single mom. I am a bit on the shy side. I love kids and not just mine. I have 2 grown boys that mean the world to me, but I am ready and willing to make room for someone special and his crew too. I was laid off in March ***. *** being devastated, I view this as an opportunity to pursue a new career direction. I will be going back to school full time this fall and am very excited. I am independent, but not to a fault. I have been described as a loyal, honest and giving person. I have a good sense of humor, sarcastic at times! I hate drama, but unfortunately real life deals out it's fair share. So I tend to look for the humor in what comes my way, as often as possible. I can be classified as low maintenance. I don't demand too much. I like to travel, but I don't get to very often. I have a lot of different interests and would like to find someone to share them with as well as learn about theirs. I am a romantic at heart and can give as good as I receive. What am I looking for? Someone who believes in being honest and faithful. Someone I can easily talk to, who will listen and who, in turn, will talk to me. I want to find someone to share and experience all the things life has to offer. A good sense of humor is a must! What I have learned is that it is hard to get to know a person by just reading a profile, a few *** txt msgs. It may even take more than one or two meetings to really start to see the real person. If you see some qualities that you like and no real "red flags", give it a chance and see what happens. If nothing long term comes of it, at least you tried and maybe you at least made a new friend. :o)
