Hi. Welcome to my meetville blog. I am looking for a great, honest, NON cheating one woman man for a "just me" relationship. I don't mind going out once in awhile but would prefer to just get some beer n sit around the bonfire. I love camping, boating, snowmobiling, and thrift shopping. I have 3 adult children, and live alone with my awesome cat, "Ricky". Pretty much open what you'd like to do on our first date...lol

I like to stay in shape and would love to meet someone who would enjoy that with me. And even if not with me, you taking care of yourself is gonna be pretty important. That does not mean I want to see a picture of you with your shirt off. As a matter of fact...I'd really rather not and every girl I know would say the same thing so please take that down before you write to me. :)' My dogs are my pride and joy. Recently retired from a non-profit org. I started 5 years ago so am busy trying to not be busy and finding some balance again. Yes, I do still have a real job; 2 actually. When not working I enjoy time at the local coffee shops reading a good book, the paper on Sunday mornings, or just spending time with neighbors that I might happen upon. Being productive at home is relaxing for me on a Saturday and then out with friends at night. I do love to travel and have done a lot of it, around the world, but don't get to as much as I'd like these days. Road trips are a favorite as well. My community is important to me and I try to stay involved in local issues. Enjoy word games, NPR, photography exhibits, writing, and cherish time with friends and time alone equally. Describing my personality in one word is impossible and Rockstar isn't it but I love that idea that it would be. Been called a bunch of those words they list for us to choose from; artsy, athletic, animal lover, beach bum, adventurer, starving artist, hippie, coffee snob, book worm, tree hugger. That last one makes me laugh. Things no one has ever called me and never will are chef, foodie, straight edge, fashionista and techie. Though I wish I was a techie. If you haven't read a book in a few years...have a need to be needed...don't understand why anyone would travel outside of the US...or if you consider killing animals a hobby, a right or a favor...please pass me by. Thanks. Oh, and if you aren't single. Depends on my mood at the time, and the guy of course. Low key real life events are good. I like to see how someone gets along in the real world as opposed to sitting across from me and saying what they think I want to hear while we both imbibe an array of adult beverages. Ouch! Did I really just write that out loud? Maybe an art show or small venue live music event so we'd have something in common to talk about in the moment and a reason to be out other than just each other. Then, even if we don't enjoy each other the time spent isn't a total loss.
