HiThanks for looking at my profile. I'm a single gal over 40 looking for that one special guy thats honest, loving, healthy and free of past baggage. Are you out there? If you are, you are certainly a challenge to find! I haven't had much luck out here yet, but am still hopeful so prove me wrong, lol. I' m not one to date guys from work. I don't hang out in the bar scene to meet men. I refuse to apply to the TV show "The Bachelorette". So what does a single gal over 40 do? Well, here I still am, attempting to search online. Here's a little about me.....I'm Single and have no kids to call my own, however, I am very blessed to have 3 nieces and 1 nephew to spend time with that only live one hour away. I love them dearly!! I also have two kittens (I call them my kids!).I enjoy a variety of activities, time with family and friends, working out, camping, traveling (when funds allow me to), projects around the house, and some outdoor activities. Being single has left me many lonely nights with my DVR (a girls must have!!). For music, I like a variety.I have a full time job and can pay all my own bills. I am blessed. I have good friends that I can spend "fun times" with, however, my life is missing that one special thing: ROMANCE. I'm not looking for a one night fling (one nighters move on!!). I am seeking to find that special connection with one man with my ultimate goal to be a long term relationship.     I guess this is where I have to condense my life into a few short paragraphs, I will give it a shot. But I have to say-these profiles are mind-numbing, my account has ***matches nearby,and well honestly I lose interest after the first 12. I have always tried to keep my life well balanced. Spending time with family, friends, and on myself. I know what I want and where I am headed. I am pretty down to earth, way too honest, I hate drama, especially in my own life.I love spending time outside, you won’t find me in a gym, I would rather hike, walk or run outside. I will get on a treadmill as my last alternative, but it is way too boring. I have two amazing boys 8 and 10 who are always on the go. They live with me half of the time, maybe a little more. But our favorite place is just the good old outdoors, we can always find something on a walk/hike that is worth learning or to remember. We recently went on a overnight campout, and slept in a tent that I built, and a I have to say faster than the other guy!In my free time I can be found running, at the farmer’s market, cooking up a summer batch of my much requested salsa, or reading a book with a nice glass of wine. I don’t like to watch sports on TV much, or TV really, but I love going to baseball or hockey games.I was married for 15 years and get along well with my ex, no drama, just friends.Well short but sweet, I guess, it is a very small caption of me. I am very happy with my life, but as with everything I think there is always room for more..
