About Me

I am looking for that person who would be my best friend. Someone who shares some of my interests but yet has his own. This gives him time away to spend time with his friends. If you want to sit around and do nothing...keep looking. I love to be outside and like warm weather. I love trying new things and exploring new places. Have a fun activity that you want to share with me? I'd love to try it with you! I love hanging out with friends, sitting around the bonfire and joking around. I'm most comfortable in jeans and a shirt but would love to put on a dress and heels and go somewhere nice! I'm not a supermodel or high maintenance diva but would I like to be pampered a little? Oh yeah! I want someone to treat me like a lady and with respect! I'm open-minded and will try most everything. I can get my hands dirty and camp out with no running water. I'm also just happy hanging out and talking. Going out to eat, watch a movie, go hiking, pedal my bike around town or sit on the beach! I love to go for a ride on a motorcycle! I can NOT operate a motorcycle but I will try to look good on yours! I enjoy being outside and I'm thinking about taking golf lessons...does that make me sound old? I love to cook and like to experiment with new dishes and sometimes make them up myself. Most of the time they turn out great! Can you do the dishes?I have raised 3 wonderful boys. Because of them, I learned to enjoy sports. I'm a huge Vikings and Twins fan. I like hockey as well, but have never gotten the opportunity to attend a Wild game! Their friends all hang out at our house and I frequently wake up to find one of their friends sleeping on my couch. It feels good to have that "place" the kids want to hang out at. Three years ago, I returned to college to further my education. It’s been a goal for me for a while and I finally decided to dive in. I should have my bachelor’s degree in ***years. Likewise, I do appreciate education in a man. At the very least spell check your profile and add punctuation maybe? I don't even read profiles that have one running sentence.     I guess this is where I have to condense my life into a few short paragraphs, I will give it a shot. But I have to say-these profiles are mind-numbing, my account has ***matches nearby,and well honestly I lose interest after the first 12. I have always tried to keep my life well balanced. Spending time with family, friends, and on myself. I know what I want and where I am headed. I am pretty down to earth, way too honest, I hate drama, especially in my own life.I love spending time outside, you won’t find me in a gym, I would rather hike, walk or run outside. I will get on a treadmill as my last alternative, but it is way too boring. I have two amazing boys 8 and 10 who are always on the go. They live with me half of the time, maybe a little more. But our favorite place is just the good old outdoors, we can always find something on a walk/hike that is worth learning or to remember. We recently went on a overnight campout, and slept in a tent that I built, and a I have to say faster than the other guy!In my free time I can be found running, at the farmer’s market, cooking up a summer batch of my much requested salsa, or reading a book with a nice glass of wine. I don’t like to watch sports on TV much, or TV really, but I love going to baseball or hockey games.I was married for 15 years and get along well with my ex, no drama, just friends.Well short but sweet, I guess, it is a very small caption of me.
