About Me

Their is nothing better than anything that comes from the heart! Sometimes in life you never know where your journey is going to go. Who you meet and where you will go. I know for me, I want to find someone that is real. Not into the one night stands and the games people play. Looking for someone loyal, true, honest and very loving. I am more of the outdoors girl. I love to travel, and go different places. I like motorcycles, wheelers, classic cars, car shows, garage sales. And many other things. But most of all, I like spending time with someone special. I like to go out dancing and staying home and watching movies. Depending on the time of the year. Not interested in meeting for a cup of coffee... I think thats CHEAP!! And you must do it a lot.

Woman. 42 years old. Zodiac sign: Capricorn.

Looking for: man. In age: 39-49

I am a hopeless romantic looking for sparks, chemistry, etc. Having that magnetic connection is my only criteria…it’s either present when two people meet or it’s not. I am not looking to rush in to anything more than establishing a friendship to get to know one another. For me, half the fun is the anticipation of what could be once that spark is *** about me and what I am hoping to find in a man…So me, this is hard. I do not like to shine the light on myself and avoid being in the public spotlight whenever possible. That said, I can adapt to almost any situation…from public speaking to welcoming compliments when required. People that are close to me would say I am loyal and committed to those I love. Honesty, trust, and generosity are values I live by and seek in others.I consider myself a handful…hence the “brave man” caveat. I have high expectations…I’m ambitious, independent, active, and make the most out of every day, situation, opportunity, etc. I’ve been known to get too absorbed (okay, self-absorbed) with work or doing menial tasks. I benefit from being around someone who is able to distract me with humor and spontaneity. I have a strong personality…I can hold my own when needed. I do best with men who are easygoing, but who can also put me in my place. Though I don’t necessarily like to be told what to do or hear the word no, it’s kind of a turn-on in a twisted sort of way. I’ll stop there. At this point in my life, I am ready to throw caution to the wind. I have ditched my checklist of what to look for in a man and *** opted to follow my heart (and yes I feel stupid saying that as I’ve always made decisions with my head…over thinking things and being way too cautious).…did I mention I’ Qualities I admire in a man include a sense of humor, good taste without being pompous, someone who values a dollar but doesn’t lose sleep over money spent…I don’t do cheap, but respect a man who is practical and who lives within his means. I appreciate someone who enjoys the finer things in life though comes across as low-key and casual…a man who’ Ideally, a person that has the tendency to be calm and collective in tense situations, treats people kindly (never rude), avoids taking life or self too seriously, and has the ability to laugh in uncomfortable/tough situations. I know that’s a tall order…I did mention high expectations somewhere in this write-up. So the other half of the equation is the ability to be flexible, open-minded and forgiving……being able to make amends and overall keeping ones ego and heart in check.Yup, there’s more…a guy who is independent. Someone who enjoys alone time just as much as being together. And when together, doesn’t mind being spoiled just a bit. I am not one to talk on the phone at great lengths but appreciate a man who can communicate. Oh and someone who is liberal enough to allow me to pick up a tab or take charge from time to time…you fill in the dots. Though I consider myself tolerant and open-minded, there are a few traits that I wouldn’t be able to overlook…racism/prejudice, superiority complex, over inflated egos, substance abuse, cruelty, dishonesty, and promiscuity. I feel I should provide some sort of disclaimer so here it goes…I am not looking for financial security (nor to support someone), a husband (though not opposed), or a father for my son (he’s got one)…Just sparks. I like to keep it simple…enjoying a meal and good conversation together while drinking a bit more wine than either of us should.

Hello, UPDATED ***I enjoy camping, hiking, biking, swimming, pontoon boating, fishing and almost anything on the water. I like to be the passenger on the motorcycle and I have been told I am a good passenger. I like to sit by a good bonfire and just watch it, talk and cuddle. I enjoy movies and quiet times. I am the mom of 4 young adults all in their 20's. Two are married and have steady jobs in engineering or military. The younger two are twins and one is working and going to college for dental assistant. The other is working two jobs and just moved into her first place. She does not want to spend money on college until she knows what she wants. I have two large dogs and my daughters cat in the house. I work full time in health care and have been in nursing since ***. Since the children are grown, I am getting back to my hobbies. I like to embroider, knit and I am learning to sew again. I am learning to garden, but I find I prefer the big projects with landscaping. I like to wile a day away sometimes with thrift store shopping or garage sales. Sometimes I buy for me, sometimes for someone else. I am trying to develop an eye for "what it could be" when I look at used items. How can I re-purpose them. I enjoy the symphony or Orchestra and theater. I have completed 2 plays with our community theater. It was a wonderful challenge and so much fun. Simple lunch or dinner followed by hiking, fishing, biking. Campfire in the evening.
