Gimme some sun and water and I'm a happy girl. I enjoy kayaking and snorkeling and would love to find someone to do that with. Hiking is another one of my hobbies. I'm pretty much up for any activity in or around a lake, swimming pool, or the beach. I am a teacher and love making a difference in children's lives. I believe honesty is key, as is keeping your word. I think keeping your word builds and keeps trust, which is just as important to me in a relationship as love. I can respect a man who tells me the truth, even if its something I don't want to hear. I need a man whose actions match his words. I aspire to live my life in a manner that is pleasing to my Lord Jesus Christ (I'm so glad He has a sense of humor and is patient with me...oh, so very patient). I believe in being equally yoked. I am very appreciative and thankful for what I have. I believe in working hard and being self-sufficient, but would love to be in a partnership where we share the load and even carry it for each other when necessary. I don't care for unnecessary drama. I've learned to prioritize what I spend my time and energy on. I'm looking forward to sharing new interests and experiences with the right man. I'd like to find someone who has compassion for others and has a passion and sense of purpose in life. I'd like to be his comforter and safe place to go to when the world gets him down. I want him to be the same for me. I love animals. My pets have always been rescues, and I volunteer at the pet adoption center. A man who is kind to animals is my kind of man.

    I am on this site because I thought it would be a good way to meet new people, make some new friends, and possibly/hopefully meet the guy that will be the Tommy to my Gina. (don't know what that means? just ask :-)I've put quite a bit of time into being a caregiver and am ready for someone to pull me back into the mainstream.
